“Incredible Hospitality, Attentive Hosts and Delicious Food!”

I can't say enough positive things about this B&B! Sinead and Pascal are incredible hosts! When we arrived, we were treated like celebrities. Pascal gave us a lot of great tips on where to go and what to do in Doolin. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable!

In the morning, we had a delicious breakfast in the dining room. There was a printed menu at each of the tables - we both chose the French Toast and it was lovely! It was freshly made and served hot! There was also ample coffee, juice and other beverages.

We were really happy that we stayed here and you will be too if you make the same decision!

We stayed at 4 bed and breakfasts during our 17 day trip to Ireland. We used TripAdvisor recommendations to select these from the seemingly hundreds available. Each one we stayed in was worthy of the 5 star ratings others have given. However, Twin Peaks was our favorite for several reasons: Twin Peaks is within easy walking distance from O’Connors Pub—a must visit for beer, seafood and Irish music. Some B&B’s in Doolin are on the main road and would be noisy. Our room on the second floor was spotless. It had lots of storage space for our hiking gear. The bathroom was spacious and had a cabinet so we could unpack our toiletries. We had a distant ocean view. The shared sitting room had nice furnishings and amenities which included cookies, tea, coffee and hot chocolate—a nice touch after hiking the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren. Breakfasts were very well prepared and varied. We really liked Sinead and Pascal’s energy, enthusiasm, helpfulness and friendliness.

Room Tip: Our front room on the second floor offered a distant view of the ocean.

Only 5 min walk to the busstop, O'Connor's Pub, lovely little shops and only 10 min walk to the Aran ferries. The rooms are spotless, Sinead and Pascal very very friendly. We always stay there, when we are in Doolin, since 10 years now.

Room Tip: All rooms are very quiet and sunny

Charming, meticulously clean, inviting and warm are just some of the ways in which we would describe the Twin Peaks B&B in the quaint town of Doolin. We chose Doolin as a two-day stop over while visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands, and, we were SO happy we did so. We traveled from Galway to the Cliffs and enjoyed them for several hours. Twin Peaks was just a few miles away and a perfect way to end the day. Pascal & Sinead were absolutely delightful. We had previously found this B&B on the website LittleRoadsEurope.com but relied on Tripadvisor for the final word. As you can see, they've earned their stars through consistent quality and cleanliness which matters a lot in a B&B. We stayed in the Family Room which was a bad idea for parents and 20 something kids. But, it is super spacious and we survived thanks to the huge bathroom and great beds. The breakfast was SO delicious - truly the best we had during our entire visit to Ireland. We easily walked to the pubs for dinner and nightly entertainment. The local shops by O'Connors Pub (originally Sinead's grandfather's) are great but be sure you ask for your tax refund receipt. I thought our kids would prefer bigger cities like Cork and Dublin but this small town experience won them over. We TOTALLY recommend Twin Peaks and can't wait to return again one day.

Our flight into Shannon arrived late in the afternoon. I had worked out late arrival arrangements with Sinead and Pascal, and to have a dozen red roses (cost me 50 Euros) and card waiting in the room upon our arrival. Even though it was 8:30pm on a Wednesday when we arrived, the sun was still over an hour from setting, and we actually got there ahead of them who had gone traveling for the day. We found a nice detailed note on the front door to welcome us and direct us to our room where where my wife was pleasantly surprised to find not only the roses & card, but a congratulatory bottle of Prosecco from Sinead and Pascal!!

After a toast and a bit of unpacking Sinead arrived to greet us with her warm Irish hospitality. Then my wife and I decided to go out for an evening of celebration. Our 18 year old daughter, weary from traveling, full of snack food and delighted with the Twin Peaks WiFi service was happy to just stay in the room for the night.

TPB&B is just a liesurely stroll down to the "main" road which heads to the docks on the right and, much more importantly, O'Connor's Pub, directly on the left. We walked towards the docks while watching a beautiful sunset. And, after it had gone down, turned around and made our way back to O'Conner's, where the Irish music was just starting up. We were a little disappointed to arrive at a time when the music area was packed SRO and wasn't any good listening or viewing. So we sat in a side room for a while and enjoyed a couple of pints. After an hour or so, most of the other tourists had taken their photos and left, leaving only serious drinkers and music lovers (Hey - we ARE from Texas). We claimed a small vacated table right next to the musicians and the rest of the night was absolutlely enchanting. When we left it was nice to have only a short stroll up the lane back to our room.

Next morning we cleaned up in their immaculate shower, had superb salmon & scrambled, chatted some more with Sinead and Pascal and headed off towards the Cliffs of Moher (only about 15-20 minutes away) to continue our fabulous vacation through Southwestern Ireland. Thank you Sinead and PAscal for starting us off on such a nice note. Remember to look us up if you are ever in Houston. And hopefully, we will return your way someday.

Jeff, Marie and Melanie

Pascal greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and kindly helped us bring our bags to our upstairs room (#1), which was well-appointed and large. The bathroom was updated and large as well and had a distant water view from the large bathroom window.
The home was meticulously clean and the breakfasts were either serve yourself or custom-ordered from the home-made menu placed on each dining room table. We had French toast, the full irish breakfast and scrambled eggs during our two-day stay. All were very good and served with fresh berries and other fruit. Plentiful coffee refills and a counter bearing fruit bowls, cereals, juices and some breads were available by choice.
Both Pascal and Sinead were forthcoming about local sights, even offering the use of their names to procure better treatment or discounts with local vendors.
I happened to have fallen on some rocks during my trip to the Aran Islands and both of them couldn't do enough to help me. They even provided me with a cooler of ice, a commodity extremely hard to come by in Irish B&Bs.
My only complaint (not really complaint at all) was that Sinead could not verify for me the stories about fairy bushes in the country. She looked at me rather oddly when I asked if her hedges out front were, indeed, fairy bushes, as a photo I took of some sheep munching on her bushes one morning mysteriously would not upload to my computer. I finally had to delete them in order to get my photo program to upload my camera's photos.
My one recommendation would be to have an electric kettle in each guest room, rather than one in the common area downstairs; this was the only B&B we stayed during our 14 nights that did not have a tea/coffee caddy in the room.
This is an excellent B&B run with great care and professionalism. I hope to return int he future.
Thank you Sinead and Pascal.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room or a room with a view or bigger bed and get them to confirm in writing.

We stayed with Sinead and Pascal in June, and we had a lovely relaxing time. This spotless and homey B&B is just up the road from Fisher St and O'Connors Pub. A short walk and you're there. Sinead and Pascal are fun hosts, and after many attempts they have decided to serve the most delicious, Butcher quality sausages we tasted at any B and B !! There is a gorgeous mural in their entry way of the Cliffs of Moher. We loved it.
