We spent only one night here but were very satisfied with our stay. Our room was spacious & very clean. The bathroom, by European standards, was large, but rather starkly done. But it, too, was immaculate. Breakfast was served hot & delicious, as it was everywhere we stayed in Ireland. The Irish may have yet to master interior design for their bathrooms, but Harborview was clean, comfy, & accommodating.

We chose this guest house thinking it would be close to O'Connors pub and the few shops that make up what we thought was Doolin, when in fact the place is about 3 small villages in close proximity. After searching high and low in that area we chose to look further afield and in the end asked for directions to Harbour View. The route took us right out of the village and way up in the hills. Eventually we found the place and upon knocking were greeted by the owners mother, who in the middle of cooking dinner, rushed us in the nicest way possible to our room (all rooms ground-floor being a bungalow) and then hastily returned to her frying pan, hope the garlic didn't burn!

We seemed to be the only guests there at that time and so benefited form being given a large family room with some fantastic views looking out over Doolin and to sea. The place has recently enjoyed refurbishment and our room was absolutely lovely, the only downside being the double-glazed windows not having french doors to open onto the decking outside, but no other gripes could possibly be had.

We only stayed here one night on our itinerary, but would liked to have stayed longer. Unfortunately we missed breakfast in the morning, but am sure it wouldn't disappoint. All in all a fine little place to stay, but be prepared for a lengthy walk down to the pubs/shops.

You can't see Doolin Harbor, but you can see the Aran Isles and mile of Irish coast. This is a lovely B&B and Doolin is a way cool town.

My wife and I went on a 10 day excursion of Ireland with the intentions of making no plans and just stopping where and when we wished....10 days/10 stops. We stopped in Doolin and new after our fist night that we could not stay just one day so we stayed for 2 1/2. We stayed at Harbour View and could not be more pleased with the owner and her hospitality. We were not treated as strangers to Ireland but as old friends stopping by for a few days. She went out of her way to make our experience one of a kind and make us feel welcome in her home. The room was great and with a gorgeous morning view. Wireless internet, great breakfast and fantastic conversation. We will be going back to Doolin and a large part of this is due to the Harbour View B&B.

We stayed at the Harbour View for only one night while touring the area. It is a lovely, modern home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom in the room we had was very large with a wonderful, roomy shower. The owners made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. They served a very nice breakfast. We would stay there again if ever in the area.

The house is situated on a hill overlooking the harbour which was lovely. The house itself is clean but sparsely decorated. In fact the room we stayed in had not one picture on the walls. The bedding was opulent with a large bathroom with shower. I could not get the water hot enough to my liking but my husband said had no problem. The breakfast was nothing special. The husband greated us on our arrival and was very nice, apologizing for the weather.

We had purchase a bottle of wine but then were unable to buy a cork screw in town. The owner was nice enough to provide one to us and also some wine glasses.

This not a bad place to stay, nothing was wrong, it just wasn't all that. It did rain hard the day we were there and of few shops we went to check out , most were closed. We wound up going back to the room and taking a nap till evening. There are 2 pubs in town that have music after 9:30. Doolin is lovely to look at but not much to do.

Great view, clean house, and good breakfast. Although we got a big room, we felt like the bathroom needed more attention. There was no shampoo and the water pressure was unusual(extremely strong at the bathroom sink). Otherwise, it was everything we expected.
