Description: Hotel Doolin's Fitzpartick's Bar, famous for it's traditional Irish music, lively sessions, thirst quenching pints and wholesome food is popular with both residents and locals alike. Fitzpatrick's Bar is as much a part of the vibrant experience of Doolin as it is of the hotel itself. With its polished panelling, natural stone and open fire it offers a calm and relaxed setting during the day while at night it transforms into a lively bar with entertainment. The Bar is split into two sections. Fitz's Snug is our cosy front bar with an open fire, ideal for relaxing with a cool pint whilst listening to our live Trad sessions. The much larger back bar is perfect for parties and live bands. There are a number of local and Irish beers available in Fitzpatrick's Bar including:•Eight Degree - Sunburnt Irish Red•Eight Degree - Knockmealdown porter•Eight Degree - Howling Gale Ale•Galway Hooker•Helvick Gold blonde Ale•Blackrock Irish Stout•Copper Coast Red Ale

“Not only good food but great place overall!”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

We spent two full nights in the pub for the music, preferring it to the other Doolin pubs. It was just more comfortable to us and the musicians really seemed to appreciate the audience - they are regulars. The local residents were extremely friendly and eager to speak with us. The food was very good and more reasonably priced for the quality than other tourist spots we've recently visited. It was just a nice overall experience at the end of 2 busy days.

“Shepherd's Pie!”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Stopped here on a recent tour for a quick lunch. Line was long, place was hopping busy, but they moved the crowd through quickly. A little confusion at the counter to order, but the friendly staff quickly assisted. I ordered the Shepherd's Pie. It was amazing. Ground beef with a think rich dark brown gravy with mushrooms and onions along with the standard shepherd's pie ingredients of potatoes and peas. Wishing I could go back now and get another plate, it was that good!

“Way Better Than Just Pub Food.”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

I have given an overall 4 ratings to the pubs in Ireland that I have visited because I did not want to lead anyone astray with a 5 rating, saving a 5 for an excellent dining experience. But if I could give a 5 to pubs, Fitzpatrick's (located on the corner, in the Hotel Doolin) would be one of them. The Fisherman's pie was outstanding. loaded with salmon and other fixing, and covered with whipped potatoes. Just wonderful. Come for the food and stay for the music, which started at :30pm. No need to wait until 9:30pm for you earlier birds. Not only an early start, but the music was great. The second group came on at 9pm and the four musician were terrific. Would I stop in Doolin again for the fish pie at Fitz? you bet and I'd stay for the music, too. If you are lucky enough to be in the bar on the evening of a girls night out or a hen party, that group that was there on Saturday, 7 September was as entertaining as the band.

“Must stop for really good food.”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Wandered into this pub after a day of hiking at the Cliffs of Moher. As others mentioned, service for lunch is cafeteria style but was pleasantly surprised at the quality (and quantity) of food. Perfectly cooked salmon with a mound of excellent flavored mashed potatoes, plus a bunch of boiled potatoes and a heap of carrots and parsnips. All yummy. Had just sat down with our food and beer when a tour bus descended on the place. They were served very fast and then on their way. As it was mid afternoon cannot comment on the atmosphere at night. But the chef deserves praise for putting together a great tasty menu.

“good food”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Very tasty food served in a bar setting. Had my dinner there during a stay in Doolin. The food was good I had the rib eye steak which was very good but a bit too big for me it was a 10oz. My sister has the crab claws which she said were lovely. ….over all staff were friendly and I had no complaints.
