“Awesome Cliffs of Moher”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

We took the boat trip to see the cliffs from the water and we weren't disappointed. The weather was a little unsettled but the sea wasn't too rough. It did rain a bit when we were out on the water, but approaching the cliffs from the water side is just awesome. I stood out on the deck next to the pilot house, so the experience might have been different from the comfort of the indoor viewing deck. I highly recommend seeing the cliffs from this vantage point.

“A Wild Ride!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

The weather was not very good on our ride to and from the Aran Islands - at least two people got sea sick - but that was all part of the adventure. Still they got us there and back safely. If you are looking for a coffee bar on board forget it. Count yourself as lucky to have a seat.

“A great cruise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

We found the cruise wonderful and the girls in the ticketing shop extremely friendly and obliging, also we had similar feelings for the staff in the pier office who were happy to talk and offer advise for travelers.
On the cruise itself there was no safety talk before we got underway and no commentary at all for the entire cruise. You can't just leave people to their own devices like this, and a bit of humor and friendly banter goes a long way; instead the skipper remained in his cabin the whole way. Also there appears to be a friendly dolphin who follows the boat on each trip and the tourists loved seeing him, but again no commentary, so we thought much more could be made of this.
The one thing we thought that was missing was a decent dose of personality to sell the product, and if this was there then we'd be happy to give 5 stars.

“Fun trip to Inisheer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

We took the ferry from Doolin to lovely Inisheer, a truly beautiful little island. We hired a pony and trap who took us all around the island and waited while we checked out the sunken church. The views of the stone walls and thatched huts and blue Atlantic were breathtaking. And it only took 2-3 hours out of our day. Perfect!

“Islands and Cliffs”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

We did the Aran Island and Cliffs of Moher combo and it was well worth the price. You should not miss a trip to the Islands - they are very peaceful and interesting. But I really enjoyed the Cliffs of Moher. We had walked them a few days before and I was a little disappointed. Even though it was Oct. it was crowded and touristy (gift shops, buses, walls, etc.) The boat is the way to see the cliffs - they are spectacular from below and with the boat circling and stopping you can see every angle, as well as the many colors of the rock. I am so glad we did this tour.
