“Cliffs are magestic”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

This is an ideal way to see the cliffs. We took the Cliff tour only and it took about an hour. You are only close up for a few minutes (safety issues), but it was worth it. It is not an experience you could have any other way wind, wavers, birds flying all around. Just great. Much better than just walking out there. Dress warmly as it is colder on the water.

“Must do trip”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

Despite the light rain the sightseeing trip to the cliffs of Moher exceeded expectation. With two small kids on board we even got the treat of seeing the local dolphin up close. Crew were friendly and helpful, boat was comfortable but we decided to stay on deck to make the most of the experience and it was well worth it. The cliffs are really impressive from the water and you get close enough to truly appreciate their size and majesty.

All in all I'd have to say a must do trip - kids will not be disappointed. We got the tickets in a special offer so the price was really reasonable too. Parking is available beside the pier, only downside was lack of toilet facilities, particularly as you might need to hang around depending on the weather. Limited coffe/tea facility on site - trailer.

“Best ferry service from Doolin!”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

My husband and I used this service to Inisheer and enjoyed it so much that we took the Cliffs of Moher cruise the next day. There are two ferry services that make the trips, but Bill O'Brien's boats are bigger (which makes for greater comfort when the sea can get rough), newer, and more comfortable. Sadly, the person at the TI office only promotes the other company--we were told by locals that her family owns this competing company. We ended up bypassing the TI, going to the pier and buying the tickets there. While waiting to board the boat for the second trip, we also witnessed Bill helping some kids who has arrived too late for the last Inisheer boat--he helped them cancel their hostel reservation, got them on a boat to Inish Oirr instead, and helped them get a néw hostel reservation there. He is a genuinely nice man!

Hello there! Thank you very much for your review and kind words. Yes, unfortunately the "Tourist Office" in the village is not an official tourist office. It is run by another ferry company who only promotes thier own trips. Bill will be thrilled you found us at our Doolin Pier Ticket Office and caught him in the act of doing something nice. All the best & hope to see you again sometime!

“Reasonable fare, felxible tickets, great service”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

Me and my boyfriend took the ferry to Inish Oirr and the Cliff of Moher the next day. It was mega cheap (we stayed in a great, cosy hostel on the island) and the cruise was simply breath-taking. I'd go again in a heart-beat

“A trip back in time”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Ferry trip was very smooth and uneventful. We had horror stories about the rough seas, but we had a perfect day and the scenery was a delight. The back deck was a bit crowded but manageable.
