“Windy day, not for the faint hearted!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

We unfortunately had no other choice but to go on a windy day (our time was short) but the guys on the boat done their best to make it a plesent trip from Doolin to Insheer. They handed out sick bags to us all and it was a very rough crossing, but sure they have no control over the weather! 2 out of our party of 4 were sick, but you are only on the boat for a half hour so its barable. If you are standing on the back of the boat make sure to wear waterproofs.

The island is very cool though, despite the weather and well worth a visit. If you can get the covered pony and trap around it, the man driving is from the island, and a proper legend! Lovely all his stories, he was a true gent and asked all our quesions, and we had loads!

“no explanations, duration only 45 min”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2012

our visit to the cliffs of moher with the boat from doolin aran ferries was a trip without any explanation from the crew (host Donie) and the duration was not 1 hour as on the prospect promised only 45 minutes; never again; the best thing was, that at the end of the trip we´ve got a card with the link to tripadvisor for telling them how was the visit. So we did it!

“The best way to see the cliffs....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2012

Went on a combined trip to Inisheer and the cliffs with Obrienline last Friday and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
The sea was perfect for the trip, there were delays departing and arriving due to the large numbers travelling on the day but this did not spoil the trip.

The four hours on Inisheer were brilliant, enjoyed lunch and a nice walk around the island in glorious weather. The locals were very welcoming and friendly.

The cruise to the cliffs spectacular, they brought us in very close in very calm seas. This is a great experience of the cliffs much better than from above on land, you really appreciate the height and beauty of the cliffs from sea level.

The boat we travelled on was very clean and suitable for this trip and the staff were very cheerful and friendly in spite of the pressure they were under with the crowds travelling.

I would definitely do this trip again with Obrienline.
