We were delighted with the 4 nights we spent at Seaview House in Doolin! It's all the little touches that add up to make it such a great place to stay! The beautiful and delicious breakfasts with homemade jam and homemade yougurt, fresh herbs grown in their garden, fresh flowers on the tables, coffee and tea on a little table by the door to take a go cup, filtered water in the room in a carafe and most of all, the hosts Darra and Niall are the loveliest people. They help you with so many great recommendations in the area and make everything so easy. They really are impressive people.

As far as Doolin goes, you'd be surprised at how much there is to do for a tiny village. Had a great time hiking the beautiful Cliffs and biking the Aran Islands, hit the pubs in Doolin, spent the day in Galway (about an hour and 1/2 away). It was all great! Our 2 daughters, ages 20 and 23 loved it as well.

Highly recommend this B&B..... Thanks Darra and Niall!

We chose to fly from Philadelphia into Shannon, with the thought of driving west to the coast, exploring and getting acclimated to the time change. We drove from Shannon to Doolin, had a bit of excitement with a rental car gone bad ... so we ended up at the Sea View House mid-afternoon. Dara greeted us, showed us to our room, and offered coffee with bailey's on the deck, looking out over the sea. It was a stunning way to begin our visit. The Sea View House if beauifully situated, up on a hill, overlooking a street with quaint shops and a pub. Beyond the shops are fields of cows, and beyond that is the sea. Darra and Niall's home is beaufifully decorated, and very welcoming. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well equipped. Breakfast each morning was all home made and offered multiple options from homemade porriage, fresh and cooked fruits, full Irish breakfast and coffee or tea. All delicious! In retrospect, it was brilliant of us to begin our trip here. The Sea View House is within walking distance of all of the restaurants and pubs in Doolin. I would highly recommend the Sea View House!

One word of caution -- because the house is up on a hill, there are 8-10 steps to climb from the parking spaces into the home. Not difficult, but something to consider if one is physically disabled.

My wife and I just returned from our Honeymoon in Ireland and can't say enough about this B&B. We stayed all over Ireland, and we found ourselves comparing everywhere we stayed to the Sea View House! Darra was a wonderful host, the breakfasts were phenomenal, the rooms were perfect, and you couldn't beat the location! We have already decided to return there on our next trip to Ireland, and we just got home last week!

We stayed at the Sea View House for three nights. This was great place to stay as we were hiking areas on the west coast. Exceptional service, rooms. We were only a short distance away from the start of the Cliffs of Mohr, hiking thru pastures and on the edge, something a bus ride doesn't show you. The staff was very helpful with directions, local interests. Best B&B in Doolin.

Room Tip: We found the best room is in the front of the house.

The Sea View House sits on a hill overlooking the entire town. Darra was an absolute pleasure to ask questions about where to eat and drink, and best places to go to in the area for a good pint. So welcoming! The breakfast was delicious as well - alot of options outside of the traditional Irish breakfast!

Perfect location, as it is a short walk down to the pub that has Irish music nightly. It's about a 5 minute drive to the Cliffs of Moher.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the town (Water view)

What an amazing place to stay. As soon as I saw this B&B on the internet i knew it was where i wanted to stay so we built our trip to Ireland around it. It was exactly as stated on the web - warm and cosy atmosphere, fabulous hosts, great views etc I would definitely recommend it!

Room Tip: the Sea View room was great as it looked out towards the town as well as the sea

We stayed two nights at the at the Sea View House in May 2013. Our experience was exceptional in all respects. The accommodation is lovely, with great views of the ocean. Sea View House is located in the center of town and in walking distance to pubs and shops.

It starts with the wonderful hosts Darra and Niall. They were genuinely nice; very helpful; and extremely competent. They were both so welcoming; it was just a joy to be staying with them. They assisted in planning itineraries and when departing, help you find your next stop in Ireland from a logistical perspective. They were a sheer delight! Icing on the cake was their sweet dog Lucy. We could not stop petting that little sweetheart.

We had a room with a view of the sea. It was very nice and contained all of the modern conveniences.

The breakfast fare was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. It seemed like everything was homemade from yogurts to breads to jams, etc. The produce was fresh and the eggs were derived from free range chickens and ducks. The breakfast menu was quite diverse and simply delicious. My wife and I could not wait to get to breakfast each morning.

To recap - our stay at the Sea View House was the highlight of our trip. We definitely will return to see them in the next 12-months or so. I highly recommend the Sea View House to folks traveling in the Doolin area. It is a great location to explore the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, etc.

Room Tip: Opt for a room with a view of the ocean.
