“Enjoy a great Craic with Susan et al”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

How's the craic.

Visiting Daly's House is just like visiting home. Susan is such a great host; George the lovely dog greets us everyday; Rory the cute boy always wears his simile day and night; and his grandma's scone receipe is beyond excellent.

Am so touched that Susan shares our burden by offering us great help (take out early breakfast before 7AM), good advice, a lot indeed. She treasures us that we've flown for 15 hours to see the beauty of Ireland, the Doolin, the Cliff of Moher, the Arran Island. She is such a genuine person, the family is such warm that I would definitely visit again next time I come.

Thanks indeed Susan, Rory, Paul, Noah, and lovely George.

We were very graciously greeted by Rory, the nephew of the owner Susan. He was warm and accomodating. Brought us a warm drink to settle in by the fire and showed us our rooms that were clean, organized and with a lovely view. He shared everything we needed to know and was very social.
Susan came and greeted us as well and she was a wealth of information, chatting with us and providing information as to where to eat and the little nuances we needed to know to make it work for us. Both of them made us feel very at home and truely welcomed guests.
The rooms were clean and well kept. Very homey atmosphere, a true bed and breakfast. In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast of our choice in a lovely sun room. Susan provided a review of places she recommends to see for our convenience.
There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our stay here.

Room Tip: If you are going to the small town of Doolin be sure to stay here with Susan, she is exceptional as...

My husband and I stayed here for one night as we were passing through to Galway on our honeymoon. After staying here we wished we could have stayed here for our whole trip! We wanted to stay in cute, traditional B&Bs to take in the beauty and charm of Ireland, and this place went above and beyond. As soon as we arrived, Susan offered us some Baileys coffees and cookies and for us to join her out on the patio. Daly's is surrounded by a gorgeous garden and there is a distant view of the Cliffs of Moher. We shared stories and felt like we had known Susan and her daughter for years. We stayed in room 6 upstairs and we couldn't have asked for a nicer room! It was absolutely beautiful! I wish it was our bedroom back here in the U.S. The bathroom was huge with a stand up shower and a separate tub. Daly's is only about a 5 min. walk from Gus O'Connor's Pub with excellent food and traditional Irish music. Susan cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning. I had soft boiled eggs for the first time and have since started cooking them myself every now and then. I was getting over a cold and Susan also made me a wonderful lemon/honey drink to help soothe my throat. We will definitely want to stay here again the next time we are in Ireland!

By far, the best B&B we stayed in. Susan Daly is the perfect host. She immediately offered us tea and cookies on arrival and her breakfast was delicious. Our room was beautiful and the views the Cliffs and Moher and some ruins and her garden are wonderful. She recommended we go to her grandfather's pub, O'Connor's, which is right down the lane. The music was the best I have ever heard. Check out You Tube videos of Gus O'Connors. The musicians are world class. Susan gave us directions to the Cliffs, booked our boat tour and even gave us directions to Dingle. Doolin was our favorite place in all of Ireland. We stayed for two days and wished we could stay longer.

We absolutely love this B&B! The minute we walked into this wonderful home, we felt like family. Susan made us coffee and joined us out on her patio overlooking her beautiful flower garden and the views of open space out towards the Cliffs of Moher. We had a wonderful chat and we also met George...her very friendly and lovable dog. Our room was fantastic. we were in room 6, which is the only room on the second floor. Wonderful and clean bathroom! WiFi worked great! At breakfast, Susan, her sister Terri, and her nephew Rory were ver attentive and served a fabulous breakfast. French Toast is excellent, as well as Full Irish. The breads and fruit with yogurt were outstanding. The location is perfect...just a short walk down a lovely lane to the main street where Gus O'Connor's Pub is located...terrific food and traditional music. In fact, Gus O'Connor was Susan's father. We stayed two nights at Daly's House. Another example of why we felt very welcome at Susan's home was when we returned from our day in The Burren and it rained. Our jeans were quite wet, so Susan immediately offered to put them in her dryer without us even asking. We truly felt like we were at home with Susan and her family. Whenever we are in this area, we will only stay at Daly's House!

Room Tip: Room 6 is the only room on the second floor. it has skylight windows. Plenty of room and a terrific...

Beautiful B&B and wonderful, friendly service from Susan and her nephew Rory. My wife was craving a diet coke and got one promptly when we arrived. I later enjoyed an Irish coffee with other guests by a comfortable fire in the sitting room. The key ring even had a flashlight to help find our way back from the pub at night. Breakfast was excellent!

Staying at Daly's House and meeting Susan was one of the highlights of our trip in Ireland! During our tour of Ireland, we have stayed in castles, manor houses and hotels but once we stayed in Daly's House we loved it the best! It was beautiful inside and out! We love how homey it feels and Susan just makes you feel welcome right away!!!! Susan is such a sweetheart! she'll give you tips on what to do during your stay, whats happening in Doolin and where to get the best food and fun. She even has directions to your next destination! Breakfast was wonderful as well! Delish! Susan and her sisters cook it themselves :) Daly's house is so bright and homey, it just makes you feel homesick when you're there! Too bad we only had one night there :( i so wanted to stay there longer! When we were there, they had a beer festival in town, it was fun! i forgot my beerglasses from the festival in our room and Susan was a sweetheart to send it to me at home and i just received them!!
