Had a fabulous evening meal with friends. There was a lovely atmosphere, great service and excellent food. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be going back. The only negative was that there wasn't a menu outside. We had to go in to ask to see one and this was a bit awkward.

It's small, easy to miss, understated and absolutely, without question, the best meal you'll find for miles and miles.

A fantastic menu. Properly fresh produce. They even go so far as to make their own in-house tomato ketchup!

I've been in for lunch a number of times (never for dinner). The food has always been really great, including for my vegetarian wife.

The staff have always been lovely and made us feel really comfortable.

In an area where so much slop is churned out for the tourists, this is a true gem and you're missing out if you don't stop.

This restaurant was a favourite of ours some years ago but then sadly closed. 12 of us revisited last week and are pleased to say that the food was exceptional, and very reasonably priced.
Proprietor really needed an assistant when we visited but tried his best - and kept his cool. Will certainly revisit.

A group of 20 of us went here for my hen. We opted for the 5-course dinner menu. The food was amazing, absolutely delicious! We had the whole place to ourselves and the service was very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. I think we were all in shock at the size of the very generous portions, and just couldn't believe the 5-course menu was for just €35. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a large group.

Had the breakfast here and it was average. it took 3/4 of hour to get it and hmmmm not really worth the wait. Streaky bacon ( not crispy ) , 1 sausage, 2 poached eggs, black pudding and some cherry tomatoes and some fried potatoes and some toasted breads. It didn't live up to expectations taste wise . Seriously for Ten euro ( not including Tea!) it's overpriced and I could seriously cook better myself. Need to up the standard a bit boys. Sorry .
