This was our second visit to Roadford House, both the B&B and the restaurant. Sometimes in life we have a good experience, look forward to the repeat, and are then disappointed that expectation exceeds reality. Not so in this case. As before, the menu was imaginative, the food beautifully prepared, and the service impeccable. Not only that, the whole place is squeaky clean. Frank runs a superb kitchen and Marion's front of house manner is both personal and efficient. We stayed for three nights in the B&B and ate in the restaurant on two evenings. Ten out of ten again. If you enjoy good food, don't visit Doolin without giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

I went to this restaurant recently by invitation with my mother a cousin and her husband. What a treat! Doolin itself is a lovely little village to visit and a trip to this restaurant is a must if you like good food, well presented and served. It's a small place so make a reservation so you are not disappointed. It's not for the budget traveller, but in my opinion worth treating yourself to.

One of the best dinners we've had in Ireland. This time, on our second visit, I had the crabmeat appetizer (a mound of crabmeat topped with a bit of gazpacho and served in a martini glass). My entree was grilled scallops served with a piece of smoked pork belly (a great suprise combination). I was too full for dessert, but my husband's was great and enough for both of us. The decor is modern, light and very open. The walls have some interesting (in a good way) paintings of cows, mules, and landscapes done by a local Lahinch artist who has a gallery in town. The owner, who also helped serve us is delightful, we are so glad this restaurant is in Doolin, eat here then go for music locally.

Small restaurant with excellent food and service. They take the time to do a very nice presentation on your plate.
