Cullinan's is a great place to stay and a great place to eat. The hospitality and friendliness of the owners makes this a great place to spend a few days while visiting the cliffs of Moher and the Arran Islands. I can recommend this place to everybody !

My wife and I enjoyed probably our best dinner in Ireland. Our guide/driver, Christy Woods, highly recommended Cullinan's. He told us that this would be the place to have a special dinner during our visit to Ireland. It is a small restaurant, so reservations are definitely needed. We got a wonderful table with a nice view. My wife enjoyed their homemade soup of the day (carrot and sweet potato, I believe) and I started with their seafood chowder. Both were excellent. For our main entrees, my wife had the perfectly done scallops and I thoroughly enjoyed the monkfish. Both entrees came with carrots and snap peas, and scalloped garlic potatoes. Service was excellent!

I really didnt know what to expect when the owner of the guesthouse we were staying at booked this for us...their own restaraunt was not open that particular night-it turned out to be one of the nicest meals ive had...and i can be very particular about food!-We were greeted and seated in a lovely intimate dining area with panoramic views of the doolin countryside...it only holds about 25 at any one time but tables were not squashed so it was a good indicator that the emphasis is on quality and not quantity here-a lovely little complimentary taster was brought out before our starters...a nice little gesture and very tasty-the brie starter came on a slate plate and tasted just as good as the quality presentation..the breads were also amazing especially the sundried tamatoe bread which still had a vein of tamatoe paste running through it...yum! .....for mains i had the monkfish and my gf had hake wrapped in parma ham....shes not a big fish eater but she was loving this dish...both pieces were cooked perfectly and very nice but the standout part of the mains is the complimentary flavors and sauces they integrate into the dishes....honestly words wont do justice...for deserts we got the choclate tartlet and the ginger and rhubarb crumble...again really excellent stuff...the crumble especially tastes great and is served warm with homemade ice cream!- In summary-service food location and a very cosy dining experience make Cullinans one you cant afford to miss!

We had not booked a table, yet the host managed to squeeze us in. This was a true meal experience - exquisite food and in no way could we fault the service. Excellent.
