This B&B is located out in the country and you must get a ride into town to eat. Traveling with two companions and we all shared a very comfortable large room with good beds. Bathroom is updated with a strong shower. Breakfast is ample but nothing special compared to some other B&Bs. The place is quiet and the owners are full of hospitality. They drove us into town both nights because we wanted to have wine/beer with dinner and the restaurants they recommended were perfect. It's a good location to see the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.

We stayed at Glasha Meadows, and enjoyed a very comfortable bed during our stay. The breakfasts were decent, nothing fancy, although the homemade breads were very tasty.

There is a common room near the front door with comfortable seating, and coffee/tea and biscuits, which is lovely and welcoming after being out and about all day. However we'd have much preferred to have a tea kettle in our room, to enjoy a hot cuppa without having to get dressed and go down the hall.

It was quite windy during our stay, and unfortunately the window in our room would not stay open just a crack...it would fly open 100% every couple of minutes when the wind caught it, so it was either 100% closed or 100% open.

The bathroom was modern and updated with a fabulous shower.

The check in times were quite strict, which is difficult to plan around when you're from another country, travelling without a cell phone, and uncertain of what your day of exploration may bring (there's nothing worse than having to be at a certain place at a certain time, when all you want to do is explore a new area without worrying about the clock). I would suggest to the owners that they instead leave a key in an envelope in the front common room for the guests that they're expecting after hours. We have used this system before, and have had this level of flexibility with all other bed and breakfasts we've stayed in (all over the world) and it works perfectly fine. I'm certain that with a bit of planning, a system like this could work (even if the keys are left in a mailbox or other agreed uplon location outside after hours).

Glasha Meadows was an ok place to sleep. Did not have the character I had come to expect from a B&B. Was more like a motel. Breakfast was ok...however again nothing like I had gotten used to from other B&B's. Didn't feel like a home...felt like a business. It was a good location for the Cliffs of Moher. I also did like that it was in a country setting.

Traveling with family (2 adults and 2 children). The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Irish breakfast was tasty. Drinking water is provided, as the water is stored in holding containers and we were advised not to drink from the bathroom faucets; however, there was always plenty of drinking water available. We came during a heat wave and the owners son even purchased ice for my family and offered us ice cream. Very close to Doolin the cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Meadows for surfing, walking and pub crawling. All three were within easy distance. Our room had fabulous view over the sea, the bedding was excellent and the curtesy tray well equipped. However the bathroom was on the small size and had no shaving point. The breakfast room is very welcoming and the buffet adequate (except for the industrial jam in little plastic containers) unfortunately the cooked breakfast was served on a cold plate.
