Great park to go with the kids for a walk, miles of different paths that can be walked or cycled, but never being too far away from the centre if they get burnt out. Good play park as well to keep the kids entertained

We stayed here at the camp site last year and thought we would return again this Easter. The facilities are very good, clean and close to all the pitches. We had our 5 year old grandson and our two small dogs with us and there was plenty to explore and occupy our days. The park itself is excellent with big open spaces, play park, the derelict Aden House and the newly restored farm buildings. There's even a big tree house!

Although it was a fairly cold April's day there was plenty to keep our interest for a few hours with a toddler and baby in tow. There is lots of parking space with a nominal charge and handy toilets near both car parks although they are very cold!!

The playground is nice and big with lots to interest our toddler (swing, slide, see-saw etc.) and plenty for when she gets older (zipwire, climbing frame etc.) and lots of open spaces to run around. Unfortunately there were no signs of ducks at the duck pond but we had a quick look round the small enclosed garden with raised beds and the rememberence garden. Afterwards we had a quick look through the free farming museam (donations welcome) which was nicely done. There is a nice section with colouring in and touch and feel displays for slightly older children which looked good too. We also had a quick look round the small gift shop which was full of local crafts and food gifts. Really nice shop with the profits going towards Aden park.

The park is so big we didn't get a chance to do everything on offer while we were there as there is also a small farm where there were baby chickens at the moment, an outdoor dog agility park and an outdoor gym as well as acres of walks throughout the grounds. There is also a cafe on site.

The overall park is really nice and clean with very welcoming staff and we will definitely come back again, hopefully next time with some sun and a picnic.

Lots to do and see. Activities for the children, park, little pond, outdoor fun for all the family. Little cafe, reasonably priced, Pay for parking tho, very reasonable.

We recently visited a sunny, yet autumnal Aden (pronounced Ahdin) Country park with friends and had a great day out. The park often referred to as “the jewel in the Buchan crown” features extensive grounds, a free agricultural Museum, and a working farm typical of the North East landscape, our guide Ian gave us an informative tour of how the farm came to be moved to its present location. Aden park has been recognised as one of the country’s best green spaces with a prestigious Green Flag Award. It makes excellent use of green space, has well-maintained facilities. The small cafe offers a range of pocket friendly meals from delicious bacon rolls to home bakes. I particularly enjoyed the coffee after a hike around the grounds.
