Mr Turdabek and his family are very hospitable. Their home is comfortable, warm and has wi-fi. Food is hearty, tasty and the best of what is locally available. Mr Turdabek has a number of fruit trees on his farm so the jams on offer are exceptional and totally delicious. Mrs Turdabek speaks German, and teaches at the local school. Mr Turdabek was friendly and accompanied us to some of the highlights of Talas: helping us visit the Talas Dairy, the Kirov Reservoir, the Talas Valley and the Talas Art Museum. If you need a place to stay in Talas Mr Turdabek and the Guesthouse Kishimzhan is an excellent choice.
