It will engage, fascinate and delight. Find the secret boxes; solve the clues; leave something in the swap box; spend some time in the tranquil bird hide, historic barn or magical wood. Sit back and let the stresses of everyday life disappear as the children play in the fantastic play and picnic area. There is so much to do. You will leave with children that are nicely tired who have walked without complaint and are one step closer to an appreciation of our beautiful countryside!!

Our children are 20 months and 4 years old, they both had a great time on the trail. They loved sitting on the giants chair and standing in the fairy ring. Great fun had by all, would definatley recommend you give it a visit. We loved it.

We visited the attraction today and I can honestly say we haven't had as much fun on a day out as we did here! The staff were so very helpful and friendly. The trail was fantastic, we spent 4 hours doing the trail & having our picnic (which was delivered to the picnic barn so that we didn't have to carry it up there). All of the sensory & feely boxes were great, the fairy scenes along the route were magical and gave my 4 year old daughter lots to talk about. She was thrilled that she could use the dressing up clothes to dress as a fairy on the way around too! The bird house gave us the opportunity to have a little rest whilst our daughter drew birds etc. We had a Bugaboo pram with us also and found it quite easy to get around the trail, however when we go back in autumn ill be taking a sling as some of the hills/terrains were a tad tricky but not impossible. One tip...wear sensible shoes!! I wore flip flops and whilst being able to do the trail easily & safely I would have felt more comfortable in trainers/shoes.
We will most definitely be returning and are considering renting the camping pod (we've never camped before!) the campsite looked very clean and tidy.
I felt very safe here and would feel comfortable going on my own with the children (I'm often spooked by woodland walks & fear who'll be hiding in the woods!)
Thank you Studfold....you've given us a great day out & some fab memories

This is a great place to take young ones to experience the outdoors. The kids really enjoyed themselves and could not stop talking about it on the way home. The campsite was great too (see my other review). I can definitely recommend it.

We visited the Adventure Trail at the weekend and stayed in the pod, it is very cosy with electric and a heater, you need to take your own blow up beds or mattrasses, the toilet facilities and showers are spotless and hot water is plentiful. The caravan and camping site is spotless and in a lovely position next to how stean gorge. The owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The Adventure Trail is very good and the kids enjoyed it trying to find the stone rabbits and solving the clues as well as finding the secret boxes. The barn is excellent with a refreshment area and lots for the children to do, we spent 3hrs on the trail as it did rain on and off the whole time, we recommend it to anyone with or without children.

My Wife and I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the Staff at Studfold Farm for the fantastic day out on the Nature Trail that we had on Saturday 4th May 2013. It was our Daughters 8th Birthday and we had a ‘Detective Hunt’ themed party for twelve Children on the Nature Trail, with party food, drinks and cake etc in the Barn at the end. Even the accompanying adults were catered for and nothing was too much trouble for the Staff. The effort that the Staff put in to make the whole event a success was really first class and there was nothing that they hadn’t thought of to make it an exciting, educational and fun time for all. All twelve children were well occupied, with some really informative and fun interactive things to do along the way. We have been on the Trail before and we will definitely be coming back again. We would recommend the Nature Trail to anyone with children who have a thirst for knowledge. One final thing, we had a baby and Pushchair with us and found no difficulty getting around all the many different activities.

Thank you.
