“What a lovely place to visit - a real hidden gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

We were blessed with a wonderful sunny morning on our visit last week. Despite having lived in Kent for over 20 years, I'd never before heard of it before!. Our fairly large party of 12 were looked after really well by owner Clare and the staff .. and they thought to take our lunch orders whilst we walked around the lovely gardens. We then returned to the pretty cafe and enjoyed lovely sandwiches, ploughmans and home-made soup. It was so nice to be served tea and coffee in china cups and saucers, with free refills and at such good prices!
Will definitely be returning in the spring to see the bluebells. It's amazing to learn that these extensive and beautiful gardens are looked after by just two gardeners .... they're a testament to their tremendous skill and hard work.

“Wealden Fair”

Lovely gardens and ideal spot for the fair this year. I have been through the gardens when the Bluebells are out, and that is particularly pretty.

“Great Garden”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

Well set out and managed gardens. Natural and peaceful. Known for its bluebells but well worth a visit any time of year. You certainly get your monies worth at £6 a person. A sunny day is an advantage. Photographers delight. Clean and and attractive cafe which do lunches.

“Beautiful gardens and bluebells”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

I visited with a friend on a sunny weekday in mid May having called ahead to find out which flowers were in bloom. The bluebell woods were at their peak and the early Azaleas and rhododendrons were out, it is likely to be a blaze of colour in about 2 weeks. The bluebell woods were easy to walk through but not as extensive as some in Kent. The more formal gardens had very little colour but were still worth a look, they were enhanced by the yew topiary and some pleasant views. We had lunch, a good individual quiche but a little overpriced at £8. There was a limited, reasonably priced, selection of plants for sale and the entrance fee is good value when the garden is full of spring colour. A pleasant, relaxing, half day visit.

“Hole Park Gardens”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

Never heard of this place, till mentioned on BBC Breakfast, weather forecast,by presenter Carol Kirkwood. The wife & I went for a day out and the chance to visit a nearby NT property.Apart from the bluebells, which are spectacular, there are other gardens surrounding the house, which are worth visiting. The house is not open to the public,it is part residential, part business.Coach House Tearoom, limited choice of lunches and slightly expensive. We had a map,but it would have been easier to follow,if there were numbers on the gardens and paths and these were shown on the map, there are yellow pointers, but they did not help.It could be worth a visit, most times of the year.
I was slightly annoyed, that the web page, did not mention admission prices.
Wife & I,enjoyed a pleasant day out.
