We had a great stay at Meadowside Barn. We felt very welcome, and enjoyed our weekend in Norfolk. The Barn was beautiful. The accommodation was superb, and very clean. Michael made us feel very welcome, and the breakfasts were amazing. During our weekend away we visited Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham, and Cromer, and ate locally at the Lighthouse Inn which was one of the best pub dinners we can remember. On our way home we visited Southwold which was also a lovely afternoon out. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for all your hard work Michael. The Nash's

Room Tip: The Blue Book in the bedside cabinet is very useful.

We where made to feel very welcome at all times and this came very naturally.

Fantastic views all round make sure you have a camera.

Beautifully converted barn to a very nice high standard.

Very nice gardens. Well maintained.

Our daughter almost three at the time was very comfortable and enjoyed her stay. She loved the mini chickens in the garden.

Very good recommendations for days out to the local interests.

Fabulous breakfast. Most definitely recommend a visit.

Will definitely like to return some time in the near future.

By chance Meadowside Barn appeared on a web search of the area and we decided to book at short notice. What a piece of luck!, our break was amazing, such a quiet place away from it all, a short walk to the local pub for a drink and some food. Hospitality, room quality and service were all high quality. Michael's breakfasts are amazing, and we're sure, if traffic had not intervened, and we had saved some room, the crumble would also have been great. A good reason for another visit!

We have just had another fantastic break with our children (aged 14 and 16). The Beach House was fantastically clean and welcoming with a cream tea provided on arrival by the owners. The location and facilities at The Beach House were perfect, making the holiday relaxing and enjoyable.
Fantastic uniterrupted views out to sea and quiet beach with clean white sand to enjoy seal and boat watching.
A great base for sight seeing around Norfolk. We recommend: The Braods Museum and boat trip, taking the train from North Walsham station for a day exploring Norwich, Poachers Pocket with sea views from the restaurant and of course relaxing on the beach.
Going for a 'hat-trick' we have already booked again for next year.
Thank you to Michael for providing such a relaxing and well equiped base for our holiday.

Sadly only spent one night at Meadowside Barn, idyllic setting in the county side and not far from the glorious empty sandy beaches of Norfolk. Michael welcomed us with tea and scones and a friendly chat. Our room was large, spacious and very comfortable with everything provided. We had our breakfast cooked to order in his open plan kitchen overlooking the colourful garden. Everything was to a high standard and we would not hesitate in recommending or returning to Meadowside Barn. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place to be.

Beach Place is clean, tidy and very well planned out, when you stay in this wonderful holiday home you will find that everything as been thought of down to the last detail. Bright, airy and full of sunshine Beach Place makes you feel instantly positive and happy as one should on holiday.
You are made to feel welcome the moment you arrive, I found the local people to be so friendly and helpful, it was an holiday I shall never forget. We stayed for two weeks and did not want to leave.
Beach Place is for me Queen of the Norfolk coast, as you will find when you sit on the sofa watching the waves on the ocean.

We were given a great welcome - tea and cake on arrival. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the house and garden beautiful. Michael cooked delicious breakfasts - he was a very sociable host with lots of information about the area. Such a peaceful spot away from the hubbub of beach resorts, yet only a short walk from the coast. This is a perfect centre for exploring the Norfolk Broads and coast. Well done for restoring an old barn to such high standards, and well done for providing such a great atmosphere to go with it!
