Cuestas offered us so much in just one day-

Comfortable stay, delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, magnificent beach view from the room.

The resort owner and the staff made us feel at home, and ensured a pleasure full experience.

The resort is quite close to the Kawasan fall, and the hotel staff can help you organise your Canyoneering tour.

Thank you guys for the memorable stay.

We stayed at Cebu a few days after visiting Hong Kong to combine a city trip and a relaxing beach holiday. The owners are very nice (a couple), and they were building the resort for a few years. It was not even open for a year I think, when we stayed there.

It is right at the beach, which is great and the sunsets are amazing. The food in the restaurant is good (not a lot of good restaurants in the area) and the beach houses have enough space for two. The staff is great and very friendly.

The decoration of the houses could be a bit improved (with simple things, maybe a coloured wall, bigger art or some better lighting) to my opinion, but that can be a personal thing. They were building very cute basic wooden cottages when we were there, they are supposed to be very cheap also!

The owners recommended the canyoneering trip, so we did and it was amazing!

Very good value for money, I would definitely recommend staying with these lovely people!

We had been travelling in the Philippines for weeks now with my partner and made an unplanned trip to southern part of cebu to experience canyoneering, as we were extremely exhausted from the adrenaline rush experience, we decided to stay for a night at this little resort with 14 rooms to offer. We arrived and was greeted by their over polite staff working here. We were then escorted to our room which is a few walks away from the reception. The room is good enough for us, they are utilizing a native bamboo tree for their furnitures, i am not a fan as the bed frame makes a annoying sounds on every move but who cares if they decided to make this as their signature furniture to showcase the cultures of this place. The bathroom is huge for the size of the room which was impressive. They also have a super cute minibar in the room, while they dont have kettle to make our coffee, this is not difficult to ask as they are readily available at the dining area and will gladly send this to your room. They have a relaxing pool and the beach down too. The resort is a bit elevated from the sea so you will have a perfect view to relax and enjoy the breeze. For someone like me who has been working in luxury hotels, i can see that this property, with constant innovation and consistency will reach greater heights. We had dinner and tried their food that was also good, one thing exceptional is the malunggay soup, a native in the visayas region. The birds chirping in the early morning is so relaxing to listen. I would definitely recommend this place for someone who have plans to experience canyoneering down south of cebu, a good place to indulge after the heart-stopping experience. Thanks to Ashley and her colleagues for the wonderful stay.

My girlfriend and I went here last summer to escape the busyness of Hong Kong which was our main destination. We were welcomed by lovely people and the resort is in great shape. The two owners are very helpful and will make sure you’ll have a fantastic time while you’re there plus the food is great and not expensive. We definitely recommend this place!
