Description: The Beeches Bar and Grill is an informal yet chic restaurant in Solihull within the appealing village setting of Hampton in Arden, with chunky wooden tables inviting you to enjoy scenic views over the rolling hills of the Solihull countryside. Featuring six different steaks in varying sizes, the restaurant also has plenty of grilled fish, sharing platters, salads and tapas options, with traditional roasts on Sunday lunch. The restaurant is inspired by a simple take on top quality dining, offering a comfortable venue for anything from a lazy weekend brunch to a quick drink after work or even a round of golf. Despite its relaxed atmosphere however, it is still stylish enough to bring a touch of class to any evening out. Warm colours, cosy sofas and daily newspapers are also part of the experience. Whatever the reason for dining, you can look forward to a friendly welcome.

Very good food, good atmosphere and excellent service with friendly staff. The room was a little chilly (drafty by the window). The drinks prices are a little more than in a pub but the food makes it worth a visit.

I love this restaurant, have been on many occasions (as part of a large group, with a table for 2 and with my children) and always have a fantastic time and the food is beautiful. They use seasonal ingredients so the menu does vary. The views in the summer are beautiful and for families there is a nice play area for children. There is always a really lovely atmosphere in this restaurant and I can't wait for my next visit. I would never hesitate to recommend this place to any one.

Had great lunch yesterday set menu good value. Starter of smoked salmon but needed some vinegar to stop it being too greasy. Great steak and fab home made chips. To full for dessert. My only criticism was that I ordered diet coke and when it arrived was clearly from a tap. Awful I complained and the waiter said oh it's Pepsi from the tap that's why it tastes different. No guy it's cos of the chemical taste mixed with syrup. Oh I if I ask for coke I expect coke not Pepsi !

5 of us went last night and shared a "5 bites for 3 people starter - £20". OK, so we got 3 bites each, but there was plenty and they were all delicious. Great mains too and reasonably priced. A good Rioja at £20.50 with a couple of extra large glasses at £7.15 or in effect £21.45 for a bottle -so a glass really overpriced.

I will certainly try and go again and would recomend it highly

Visited the Beeches early on a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday with a toddler in tow. Very nice decor and ambience. Menu quite varied but a little on the pricey side. The restaurant was quite empty but to be fair it was early. Service good, starters interesting and main course well presented. Was a bit shocked to discover when we got the bill that one glass of wine cost £7.00! Because of the prices it is a place to visit for a special occasion not for a Saturday night meal out.
