We stayed at Southill Barton for a RSPB boat cruise from Exmouth seafront.
The location is only seven minutes from the M5. We booked a two course supper for our arrival. The meal was superb, served in the cosy dining room with a wood burning stove. Great value for the quality - only £15 each with wine.
Our double en-suite room was very spacious and well equipped, with lovely views over the garden and lake. The two guest rooms have their own entrance.
Breakfast is a real treat with local produce and eggs from the bantams. The friendly owners, Caz and Will do their utmost to ensure you enjoy your stay.
If you love good food, the famous Drewe Arms at Broadhembury is only five miles away.
Booked again for another weekend in June.
