We stayed self catering in the large gite which easily accommodated 8 adults and 2 children. The gite is attached to the main b&b which is stunning and definitely worth a tour if you're not staying in one of its beautiful rooms.
Keith and John are fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble and often arranged reservations etc for local restaurants or activities on our behalf. If however you are looking for good food go no further than booking a meal with the hosts. I am not vegetarian but the food that was prepared was absolutely delicious!
The grounds are extensive and well maintained, offering the use of a large outdoor pool and a multitude of games and sports, which led to a friendly competive streak showing in the adults on the ping pong table.
There are plenty of things to do in the area although some do require the use of a vehicle to get to. A must is a walk through the grounds and down to the lake which took approximately 30 mins through beautiful scenery.
There is a local supermarket for all your self catering needs.
We would definitely recommend staying here either as a large group in one of the gites or smaller groups/couples in the B&B.
Hopefully we will see you very soon!
