“A very pleasant little hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

Friendly owner who went out of his way to be helpful. Nicely furnished room with very comfy bed. N. B . Just take a shower not a bath - the water supply is inadequate for a bath. Excellent breakfast - freshly prepared pineapple brought to our table each morning along with fried eggs. We also had cereal, yogurt, fresh bread, ham and cheese. Well located for walking and sightseeing. Easy parking. A bowl of wrapped biscuits is offered in reception from which we helped ourselves a couple of times. They were good. Free wifi in reception. When we came back to our room on our third day we had been given a bottle of wine and cooked meat... Very nice. Would recommend this hotel. Very good value.

Room Tip: If you don't mind stairs room 108 on the. Second floor had a wonderful view.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2013 via mobile

I was at the hotel Da Ines in 11-16 December for the research of a new tour program. The rooms are nice and well equiped. The view to the garden and El Golfo area very nice. The friendly and interested hotel mamager a positive contrast to the most "professional" hotel mamagers. The breakfast was fresh and rich and the fresh fruit and juice a pleasure. The hotel manager is also a good cook and you can enjoy halfboard & accommodation. I can recommend the hotel any time!

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

We stayed for 3 nights in our honeymoon in May. So we didn't try the swimming pool because it was too cold for that. But we got a lesson of horce-riding (in spanish, of cource) on the owner's farm down the hill.
Good quite place, but it was hard to find it with a GPS data on booking.com website, so we spent 20 minutes searching and finally were forced to ask people around (at 22 in the night).
Breakfast was really small, coffee was really bad and juices also were not good. But bread and eggs was ok.
Place for parking is for professional drivers only, because near the hotel street goes under the 45 degree angle, so you should be very brave and well-skilled driver to park there.

2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2009

Hotelita Ida Ines is a 2 star hotel located in a quiet side street close to the town centre of Frontera, The location is very quiet so getting sleep is no problem and the rooftop swimming pool was very enjoyable. The surroundings were picturesque and the hotel is very close to the beautiful town church and forms an ideal base location from which to explore this interesting island. The rooms were adequate and clean but were small and dark inside and hot at night (no aircon or ceiling fans). My friends´ room had a bath but the hot water boiler was not big enough to allow its use. The rooms have coffee making facilities but the kettles provided were actually milk warmers. These were painfully slow to heat water and never actually reached boiling point, nevertheless, we managed to make ok tea. Breakfast was adequate with cheese, ham, yoghurts and good fresh bread daily, but the fruit served was all overripe and not appealing at all. The hotel was quite depressing, the artwork generally misserable and the backgroung music played at breakfast was often more appropriate for a funeral than a holiday hotel! More importantly though, throughout our 3 night stay the reception and dining room had a dreadfull smell of drains. Generally adequate but could be a gem with attention.
