“Excellent Accomodation”
Reviewed May 22, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

What a wonderful cottage. It had all the amenities needed including a wonderful hot tub and fantastic views. It was a stones throw from a wonderful pub and a great base for a walking weekend. Well done the owners for making it so good!

Liked best: the hot tub of course
Liked least: the sky light needed a blind - I woke up to early

“Fab cottage in the peace and quiet”
Reviewed April 13, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

If you want a place to relax and cut off from the outside world then this is the place to go. The local pub is only a stubble away but other than that there isn't much else near by.
The cottage is a good size with a modern kitchen that has all you could need. The bedrooms are big and airy and the garden is shared with the other cottages and has tables and chairs. There is a hot tub in the garden if you want to indulge in a bit of fun.
All in all I was very happy at the cottage and I'm sure anybody else that visits won't be disappointed.

“Home away from Home”
Reviewed March 24, 2016 for a stay in July 2015

This is a delightful, well kept cottage. We stayed for a week in July 2015 for our first wedding anniversary. We had such a lovely time and really looked forward to returning after each day of sightseeing.

The hot tub is a godsend and is lovely and warm even when it's chilly outside. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up main meals.

The bedroom is so beautifully decorated and spacious, the beds were lovely and comfy, I just can't recommend this place enough!

We will be visiting again and will not look for any other accommodation while visiting the Lakes.

Liked best: The quiet, idyllic location and hot tub!
Liked least: It's best suited to someone with a car, so you can drive into the larger towns for activities.

Have just returned from a fabulous stay at this cottage... it was simply gorgeous. The cottage is so so cosy and beautifully decorated, felt like home from home. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch and definitely got us in the Christmas spirit! The hot tub is great!! It was a lovely relaxing break before Christmas & we will definitely be returning to this cottage! Already recommended it to family and several friends! Thanks for a lovely stay xxx

Had one of the best weekends stsying in this lovely little cottage. A friendly village with a nice little pub yards away.
Hot tub was great and the parasol helped for privacy and the snow.
Thanks Adele looking forward to our next stay.
Only was the wifi as the signal was not the best but this was no problem as we was looking for peace and quiet without getting bothered haha
would recommend this to anyone

“Cozy cottage ”
Reviewed October 29, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We stayed for 3 nights during October half term holiday. It is a stunning little cottage. Perfect for couples and plenty of room for a small family too.
It was clean, warm tidy and well kept.
The back garden is semi private, the hot tub area (immediately to to right of the back doors) is fence off (with gated access if needed) but the grass area is shared. Great if there is a large family wanting to booked the cottages either side (they are all owned by the same people/person).
The owner recommended the local pub, The Butchers arms. Sadly it closed Monday's and no food Tuesday night, but it was well worth waiting till Wednesday night! The food was delicious and very filling. It truly is the heart of the village as it is owned by the community. The pub is very clean, welcoming and very reasonably priced. The locals in the pub were lovely and the staff too.
We would certainly look at staying here again if we were in the area again

“Perfect break”
Reviewed September 23, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We wanted a high stndard of property with a good pub nearby and were not disappointed, the property provided everything you could wish for whilst away from home yet readily accessible to good walking, towns and the lakes. We will definitely use the property again.
