I've stayed at the Rose & Crown twice this year, each time for a single night only.
I would recommend it (and indeed have already done so) as a place to stay for a visit to Bath. The price is really reasonable, the staff are great, breakfast terrific and dinner was very good indeed. The bar/restaurant was very busy on the Wednesday night which I took as an indication of its popularity and value for money.
My sister and I stayed in one of the new rooms which was clean, bright and included a large ensuite shower room, tea/coffee making facilities as you would expect, hairdryer, iron and ironing board - which was a very good idea. My sons shared the room at the top of the stairs which had more space in the bedroom but a smaller bathroom and, again, had everything you would expect.
There is a large carpark and a nice outside seating area. It takes only a short time to reach the centre of Bath.
I would certainly stay there again.

Stayed here on business with a colleague she got room 6 which is new and very big as she kept reminding me I had room 4 not as big but still fine for me lovely big shower and bathroom. Only stayed one night but ate in very good fresh food and the crown breakfast was spot on. We didn't need to leave until 12 next day so Tom and Jess let us work in the lovely light bar area which was great. They were also great company on the bar in the evening. My colleague loved the place and so did I will use again when next in the area.

Me and my fiance wanted to visit Bath, but not pay an absolute fortune to stay. We came across this inn at £65 a night inc breakfast which we thought was a bargain.

The welcome was warm and friendly, and each interaction I had with the staff was very pleasant.

We stayed in room 2. The size of the room was perfect and the bathroom was bigger than expected! Plenty of storage room, a flat screen tele plus hot drink making facilities were provided. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets felt very fresh.

We ate dinner and breakfast there twice and each time it was totally faultless. The evening meal in particular was great as it was so fresh and tasty, a bargain as most meals were under £10 a person.

Bath is about 15 minutes drive away which was easy, and parking in bath for the whole day will cost you around £10. The inn itself has a large carpark, so you could easily leave your car onsite and take the bus into town (I overheard a couple mention that is what they were doing).

We loved our stay, and will certainly stay here again when we come back to bath again next year.
