“A lovely apartmentment with lots of its original Victorian features in a stunning location.”
Reviewed August 13, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This was a fantastic base for walking and exploring a very scenic area. The facilities were good and I consider the holiday very good value for money. We plan to return next year maybe for a fortnight this time.

“We love it”
Reviewed August 7, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We've been for the last 4 years and we love it - it feels away from it all but within a 20 minute (beautiful) walk you are in Barmouth over the causeway and bridge. The flat has everything that we need and the views from the front windows over the estuary are stunning. It is well situated for a variety of walks and activities.

“Unique location, lovely place”
Reviewed April 11, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed at this apartment for 7 nights with our three small children, and they were immensely excited to explore the hills behind the apartment or the shores of the estruary when we weren't visiting attractions in the area. The nearest town of Barmouth is a pleasant 35 minute walk across the rail bridge, there are a small number of restaurants/pubs and a Co-op. otherwise the next nearest shops are a 20 minute drive away. The apartment itself is pleasant and has a good amount of room, an admittedly small bathroom but affords great views across the estuary. Jean, the owner was very cheerful and helpful. Fantastic if you want to be away from a town, but not too far.

Management Response

We are very pleased that you enjoyed your holiday, and hope you will visit again! Although we are situated in a beautiful, rural location, we are lucky to have a selection of local shops about 5 minutes drive away in Fairbourne. These include convenience stores, post office, butchers, and a fish & chip shop! There is also a café, bar and good Indian restaurant.

“Stunning views and lots of things to do”
Reviewed February 22, 2014 for a stay in August 2013

I booked the apartment for a week in August 2013 for myself, my teenage daughter and her friend and I can thoroughly recommend it. The apartment is comfortable, with good sized rooms and is well equipped. The bathroom is on the small side but was more than adequate for our needs. The apartment has the most amazing views over the estuary which puts it in a class of its own, there is no view like it that I know of. The location is also very tranquil, and having a barbeque by the sea wall looking over the estuary in the early evening is a perfect end to the day. There is a lot to do close by for teenagers or younger children, Barmouth always has a lot going on and there are plenty of beaches, walks and bike rides to enjoy. The King Arthurs Labyrinth a short drive away is a great day out and the George 3rd Inn is wonderful for an evening meal.
