My boyfriend and I enjoyed 8 nights at the Marrakesh and I could not fault our experience. The hotel and its grounds are just beautiful and every single staff member we encountered were friendly, helpful and trustworthy, which is very important to us when travelling.
We were impressed with the hospitality and high standard of service we received. The whole hotel and especially our room are beautifully decorated, we had a relaxing jacuzzi spa on our balcony with a beautiful view.
On the first morning, for breakfast we were offered tea and coffee by Namtar, our beautiful waitress. The second morning before we even asked, Namtar confirmed that we would like coffee and had it brought to our table before we had returned from the buffet with our breakfast. Every morning after that, coffee was on our regular table before we had even sat or had to ask which was such a wonderful, personal service touch and a great way for us to start our day every morning. Thank you very much, Namtar, you are a shining star of the Marrakesh!
As for the buffet itself, there was an awesome selection of both western and Thai food on offer, as well as fresh fruits and juices. My favourite was the custard buns! They also will make eggs to order any way you like.
The pool area is beautiful, tastefully decorated and has a gorgeous view of the beach, with direct access.

Location-wise, you are a bit further from town, so if you wish to shop at the Hua Hin night market I recommend taking the free shuttle offered by the hotel. Otherwise taxi or tuk tuk will cost you around 100-150 baht.
There is a convenience store located a 1 minute walk to the right of the hotel, as well as a lovely restaurant serving traditional Thai food at a very reasonable price.
A little further down, less than 10 minute walk is the BluPort shopping mall which is easy to spend a few hours in.
The cicada and tamarind night market are a 5 minute walk the opposite way from the hotel.
Overall location wise we had everything we needed within walking distance which made our experience enjoyable.

This hotel is all in all, fantastic, very luxurious, 5-star service and amenities, and I recommend to all visitors to Hua Hin.

I was looking forward to stay in this hotel because of the good reviews but it wasnt a good experience
After check in which was ok we went to our fountain pool room once I entered the room I was shocked with a strong bad smell in the room plus the room was dark.
For me it's important to have a well lighted bathroom but that's not the case in marakesh.
I asked to change the room they were helpful they offered another room on the next day but I chose a higher room instead of the ground floor rooms because it felt that the smell is because of the private pool and the plants around it.
Overall both of the room I saw were overused especially bathroom area you can sea the salt residues between tiles the bed was hard some spider webs around the bed poor lighting of room and a small swimming pool.
The beach was awesome and the food appeared varied but mostly not halal so I can't judge it.
