We went there with 5 adults and 1 child staying at Duplex. We booked it directly to the hotel. This is the forth times we came to this place. We used to love it so much but things has changed here. Staffs, especially receptionists and waiting staffs in the restaurants, are terrible. The receptionist named Thanawat Muenming gave us the most uncomfortable moment since we arrived. He should not be working in a service industry if he has no service mind. The cost per night is THB9,000, normally THB12,000, which is the hotel promotion. When we checked-in, we asked Thanawat for the Duplex2 where we stayed everytime but he said another guest already booked that room and we were unable to choose because we paid it cheaper. And Thanawat insisted that we have to pay 1,000 for the extra bed for the 5th person, we had no problem and paid for it. The next day when the guests in Duplex2 checked-in, we happened to talk to them and found out that they never requested for any specific room and there are total 10 guests staying in Duplex2 without having to pay for extra person charges. We don't mind paying but staff should treat everyone equally. Yes we paid cheaper because it was the hotel's promotion, not that we begged for the cheaper ones.
One last thing, the pool was very dirty and the library was also very dusty. If they want to charge the room this expensive, they should maintain the quality and service at acceptable level.
There're hundred of hotels in Hua Hin, we recommend you to try out other places if you do not want them to ruin your holidays.
