The Crown Inn
Certificate of Excellence

The Welsh Borders lived up to their March potential - wet and cold - but our two night stay at the Crown Inn made up for that with a friendly welcome and a lovely warm atmosphere. Excellent food in the form of ample delicious breakfasts and tasty home made dinners served with good wine and interesting real ales. A tastefully decorated bedroom with the biggest bed we've ever seen provided comfortable accommodation and a good night's sleep. If we return to this beautiful area we will certainly try to stay here.

We found this an ideal place to stay while visiting Ludlow which is about a 20 minute drive away.
The food was delicious thanks to Lindsey who is a trained chef, with plenty of choice of both food and wine. The room, which was one of only 3, was clean and spacious enough for a huge and comfortable bed. Debbie greeted us first by waving from the upstairs window and continued to make sure we had everything we needed which included on-suite, tea and coffee making, hairdryer. Well worth the drive to find such good service and good quality accomodation. Thanks again - you deserve to do well. Pete and Sue

Our stay at the Crown Inn far exceeded our expectations and the photo's really do not do it justice. The massive super king size bed was the most comfortable we have ever stayed in. Lindsey and Debbie were brilliant hosts who were most welcoming and ensured that we had everything we needed. The food was excellent, as was the service. Our only regret was that we had not booked a longer stay. We will definitely return. Thank you, Helen & Vinny.

Just back from a 2 night break at the Crown Inn. Had read the good reviews on here prior to booking & it more than lived up to expectation. Very welcoming, large, comfortable room, the homemade food was lovely, beautiful area of the country.

My own complaint was that the time went too quickly .... will be back.

Spent 2 nights at The Crown, lovely warm welcome, food wonderful, breakfast and evening meal, nothing was too much trouble, supplied with good wine, good beer and dominoes, what more can you want. Room was clean and very comfortable. Situated in a lovely area of the country. Will definitely be returning soon.

located in a very quiet village in a beautiful part of the country close to the welsh border. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival & shown to our room. The room was very clean, comfortable & modern & what a nice surprise to find electric blankets, a very welcome touch! The food was pleasant & reasonably priced, a good selection of ales. Overall a fantastic stay & would definately recommend this place, debs & lindsay are very welcoming & friendly owners & offer the perfect relaxing stay.
