This restaurant has long been on the 'to do' list and on a recent trip down south we had the opportunity to book in here for dinner. We had a table by a window overlooking the harbour. The interior is quirky with recycled fittings and full of interesting objects including cookbooks, old china and framed citations. Our food selections of scallops with pernod and whitebait omelette were quite deliciious and more than ample, indeed they required several attempts at finishing! We would have loved to sample the dessert menu but...! The very talented and lovely Fleur later joined us at our table for a chat and autographed her cookbook for us - such a delight. The sun sets late in these parts so an added bonus was watching the fabulous golden twilight at the end of our meal. We will return.
