Cannot recommend Lizzies enough. I have been here many many times and look forward to going back every time.

The service is excellent, food beautiful and atmosphere relaxed and cosy.

I ate here with a party of 7 last year for a special occasion in August 2013 and from start to finish, everything about it was top class.

As there is no licence, it is a bring your own restaurant with no corkage and they even get you wine buckets to chill your drinks. I know we overstayed our welcome that night as we were having so much fun but not once were we made feel like we were in the way! The staff could not have done enough.

Massive portions, great quality food and the BYOB was a great value option. Upstairs was a little cramped but having said that it was cosy and made for the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend if you are in town.

Elegant place. We ate there twice and both times it was a nice choice! Sometimes they use the typical black stone of Donegal as a plate, so I got served a salad on the black stone, very nice (and very good salad!). Recommended!

We happened upon Lizzie's Diner late in the evening with hunger in our bellies in search of somewhere to eat and rest our heads for the night. And Lizzie's provided both. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, simultaneously pulling out their phones to find us local accommodation while they served us up a feast of wonderfully wholesome ciabattas and burgers, washed down with some b.y.o. and much friendly banter. Would highly recommend this place if you are in Donegal.

Super mix of price, quality, selection and portion size.
Staff were very friendly and chatty both times we went in.
And the BYOB was an excellent option for us too.
