Last time we called here it was packed ! But thankfully today (Monday in October) it wasn't.
Sandwiches were delicious followed by pecan chocolate square which was very yummy !
Would recommend :)

I spend much of the year frequenting Muck'n'Muffins cafe (I'm lucky enough to spend weekends and most school holidays in this beautiful part of the world). The staff are friendly, hardworking and good at keeping on top of such important things as clearing tables quickly. The space can be cramped at busy times, but in the off season you couldn't wish for a cosier or more welcoming place to pause between walks.

There is a good range of snacks available, and delicious cakes/tray bakes. The home made lemon meringue pie is particularly to be recommended. If you're looking for a proper meal, the lasagne and salad is very filling . Beer and wine are also available, which is unusual in this type of cafe. This does bring back happy memories of when Muck'n'Muffins used to open as a wine bar in the summer evenings... The cafe is used as a venue for the popular annual Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues festival.

It's also lovely to be able to browse in the craft shop downstairs, from which I have bought many a Christmas/birthday present over the years. Sure beats the Christmas rush in Derry city centre!

Great for a quick lunch or coffee break. Always well supported which is a good sign so much so that a peak times it is a little cramped

Very good coffee in this establishment. We had the special for lunch which were delicious wraps. I would find it hard to believe that the selection of desserts can be beaten in Donegal delicious!

Muck n Muffins has been a favourite place in Dunfanaghy for us, but usually after Christmas. Very crowded at lunchtime now, but they do great takeaway soup, sandwiches and coffee which were enjoyed in the much less crowded beach at Dunfanaghy. Will be back over the New Year (but eating in at that time).
