Lovely quiet spot. Great hiking to Tramore Beach from the Lodge. Nice rooms, good breakfast and friendly hostess.

We have been visiting Dunfanaghy for many years and Forest Lodge is very much our first choice for accommodation. It is in a perfect location with easy access to facilities but is quiet and peaceful and has a great view into Sheephaven Bay. There are terrific walks to beautiful remote beaches and to the splendour of Horn Head. Jean is a warm friendly host , Forest Lodge is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are always good. The bedrooms are a good size and the guest lounge is welcoming particularly on cooler evenings to sit in front of a peat/log fire.

This is a place to come back to - it is warm and friendly and feels like home.

Stayed for 2 nights and made to feel very welcome. The view from the garden is a real bonus. Our room was spacious with a large ensuite and very comfortable and quiet. Excellent breakfast and enjoyed relaxing in the lounge and helping ourselves to tea, coffee etc as required. The walk from beside the B&B to secluded beach is well worth doing with fantastic views.
