Stopped here for lunch and food was very good. Very nice surroundings and good friendly service. Food was very good, good scones, soup and sandwiches were very good and quiche looked great (ordered by adjacent table!).

Superb value for a great salad full of smoked salmon, crab and shrimp at an excellent price and in a great atmosphere. Lovely cafe.

Came into the Starfish on a rainy Sunday and found it to be very busy. We ordered a latte and a hot chocolate (both regular) and found that they both contained a quarter of froth in each cup. After 2 drinks we were both finished and felt disappointed. The visit in total took longer to order and be served than it was to drink. The large being 50cents dearer appeared in bigger cups but with as much froth. Shocked and surprised. Definitely not going to sit all day over the one cup. Real shame. :(

We pulled into Dunfanaghy today after a bracing walk up to Horn Head, and chose the Starfish as an inviting looking cafe. Indeed the decor is charming -- the casual seaside ambience was perfect. We were greeted well. The menu was interesting, with two daily quiche specials, which come with a side salad, which my sister and I ordered, and interesting herbal teas. We then waited a rather long time, as one of the two employees left shortly after we arrived. However when the food did arrive, it was perfect. Would endorse eating at the charming Starfish when you visit Dunfaghy.

Visited Starfish bistro 20th April mid afternoon looked very inviting from the outside and it was every bit as good inside. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the toasted sandwiches and cupcakes were delicious and good value. The bistro is very comfortable and tastefully decorated will definately return. It was kept busy always a good sign
