At the beginning we had some problems with our rooms, but due to the kind help of the Manager and the kind service we felt very comfortable.
The right place to go, when you look for a charming location in a great natural surrounding, near to Dublin City.

I got married here on March 2, and Summerhill House couldn't have been better hosts. They were much more accommodating than other places from the start, and had an attitude of giving (especially when it came to food). They provided for all our guests wonderfully, and it felt like if 50 extra people showed up they would've fed them too!

They gave us the run of the place for the whole day, they kept the bar open til the early hours of the morning, and everyone said their rooms were great too.

Would highly recommend anyone stay here, these guys put the hospitality back into hospitality.

Room tip: I can only vouch for the bridal suite, but that was amazing, with great views of the mountains

Stayed as a guest in this hotel for my neice' s wedding.
The venue for the wedding was perfect, the meal wonderful, breakfast wholesome.
The bedrooms need a complete revamp, however the bed was the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in.
The hotel staff were very accommodating.
We had a wonderful weekend in this hotel.

We had our wedding here on the 2nd of March and it was absolutely wonderful!! The staff were amazing, the wedding room itself was absolutely stunning and the food was delicious and plentiful! All of the guests commented on how big the portions were (which is definitely what you want for a wedding!). Seamus the wedding co-ordinator was so helpful in the run up to our big day and Ludo the hotel manager was a fantastic help on the day and really couldn't do enough for us. We had the most magical day and we're so grateful for Summerhill and the amazing staff that helped make our day so memorable!!

We satyed in November 2018 to attend a funeral and in January 2019 for a walking in Wicklow "bootcamp". The hotel which is a large sympathetically converted country house in it's own grounds, primaraly a wedding venue, is warm, welcoming with open fires lit and fragrant fresh flowers really very artistically arranged in the large drawing rooms with beautiful thick elegant cutains/drapes as there were also in the large bedroom assigned to us. Getting a generous breakfast, again with artistic presentation, cosy clean environment and generous helpings, vegetarian or otherwise. Breakfast in bed on the weekdays and in the breakfast room at the week-end.The people working there during the day and during the night, uniformly courteous and helpful at all times conspiring to make one's stay a good experience. We'll be back for more of the same.
