“Really Dreary”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Emilia's is well positioned on the triangle in the centre of the very pleasant village of Enniskerry. Once the 'early bird' eaters had finished, we had the place virtually to ourselves. It is frequented by locals who are to congratulated for their loyalty to what is a not very exciting restaurant. It is possible that one could find a pasta dish or a pizza to one's liking if one were to persevere. We sampled some of the starters and main course specials and frankly they were very disappointing. Four starters, four main dishes, one desert, three teas, a coffee, four glasses of wine and a bottle of water came to €125 excluding a tip. The waitress was very friendly and the service was good.

“Yummy real Italian, great service, nice wine, reasonable!”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

We had a great experience there, affordable, great menu, a must do if in Enniskerry! We had the spicy chicken, the antipasto, and the grilled shrimp, all yummy! and the wine was a great value (they have specials on the chalkboard).

“BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN IRELAND!!!!!”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

The restaurant we planned to stop at was closed, so we went to Emilia's. What a delightful
experience! The food was very good, the service was excellent - the waiter went out of his
way to make sure we had everything we wanted. All of us had something different and each
entree was superb! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our big mistake was
not going there the night we arrived at Powerscourt!

“Great Italian in Ireland?”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Yes! This little gem is run by Italians -- and it is soooo good. By the end of our trip, we just could not eat another potato, so Emilia's was a great change of pace. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and delicious food! I had the shrimp and calamari risotto and it was piping hot and so comforting and tasty. The restaurant itself was also so cozy and warm.

“Nice food. Dining hall atmosphere.”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

the food was o.k.. We had the stuffed mushrooms (very good) and Carbonara - heavy and rich, but tasty. Overpriced beer and poor quality wine.
