We had a two night stay in the Falls Hotel and found it very busy with weddings and Family functions. It seems to be really popular locally which gives it a lovely feeling. Room 317 was just right for us and the Leisure Centre was spotless and the 20m pool was a pleasure to swim in as the pool was pretty empty for both a Friday and Saturday morning. Breakfast was really nice and staff very professional and friendly. Music in the Bar was a a bit "Nursing Home" but people seemed to enjoy it. Overall the Falls Hotel is a great base to tour Clare and a pleasant place to stay. River walk is lovely and full of wildlife. Ennistymon is a bit neglected and depressing. The Town has so much potential but with not so much as a hanging basket or flower pot it looks just "Ordinary" but okay to pass through.
