I stayed here with my boyfriend at the end of December 2013 for new years. I couldn't fault the staff at all, they were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious, the only fault I found was that the room was cold as it only had one small radiator. The food in the bar was lovely, really tasty and fresh, and the service was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel, it is right in the middle of Lahinch and our room had a lovely sea view! We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the stay, old fashioned hotel. Cold on arrival we had to ask to get the heating on. As they were expecting us I would have liked a warm room. Everything was clean just dated and I think in need of a refurb however I suppose it is traditional. Breakfast was good. I left my straightners but when my friend called and asked they hadn't been found.... so not sure what happened there. You are expected to leave the big key when you go out but this would have meant leaving it on an unmanned desk so we took it with us.

This was one of our favorite places to eat on our 10 day trip to Ireland. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. It is centrally located and many shops and attractions are within easy walking distance.

Room Tip: Order the seafood chowder!

Stayed for a long weekend in August Thurs - Monday. This is a pub with accommodation above, large family room, big double bed and 2 seperate single beds, but quite a small bathroom? Very clean and comfortable, the full Irish kept us going for hours. We had one evening meal - big portions very tasty. Very friendly pub and staff - the night porter gave us tea and toast at 6.00 am on the
Mon morning we left, for which we were very grateful. The only downside was that our room was over the bar at the front - not much sleep till 1am on the Sunday night! Otherwise a great place for a short stay, good value, great location on high street and we manged to park on the street outside 90% of the time, allthough the Hotel has a small carpark at the back.

we met our cousins here for dinner. the decor is not fancy and there is not a view of the beach but this is where the locals eat for a reasonable priced quality meal. I had the lamb and my wife had the roast beef and they were both excellent. The maitre 'd came around to the table to make sure we were satisfied.

Stopped in for a stopped in for a quick lunch between activites on a stag weekend, other places couldn't accommodate a large group at short notice but wasn't a problem here. Good choice of sandwiches/wraps and the chowder was very good.
