Three days at the Cliffs of Moher Retreat did not seem enough! This was an all-encompassing retreat-- the location was beautiful, food was grand, and the yoga was a gentle practice. Michelle was a wonderful instructor-- she did not push us with advance moves such as headstands, but constantly told the class that "the advance practitioner knows what is best for her."

Once again, the food was divine. A classmate had said that if someone were to cook for her, she would be a vegetarian; I agree with the sentiment. The raw chocolate cake, banana and peanut butter "ice cream," and feta frittata were amazing. Best of all, Michelle is more than happy to share the recipes with everyone.

The weekend was a great way to spend some time to relax, enjoy the ocean scenery, and to maintain a healthy lifestyle...if not maintain, perhaps provide the spark for a whole new level of awareness in regards to one's personal well-being. It was an inspiring trip to be a healthier you.

This was a gorgeous retreat. A great balance of yoga, meditation outdoor exercise and healthy food. Michelle and Michael have made a fantastic retreat in their home and it does feel like spending a weekend in a friends house. Michael had the fire lit in the lovely little sitting room when we arrived and it felt so homely sitting around the big dinning rom table to eat. The yoga and meditation was so restorative and I loved the yin yoga session . Michelle is so knowledgeable about so many aspects of well being . Thanks to all my lovely fellow yogis who made the weekend such fun..

A very special place. Will be going back. The mix of yoga, walks and great vegetarian food was perfect. The setting is perfect place to relax, the rooms are very comfortable and private. Michelle is a great teacher and set the tempo of the yoga perfectly for the group. Felt 10 years younger coming home!

The Cliffs of Moher retreat has everything that you would want from a yoga retreat.
Michelle and Michael couldn't do enough to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible.
The accommodation is cosy and comfortable with amazing views over the Atlantic.
The food is second to none. WIth Michelle and Hugo in the kitchen each meal was exceptional.
The morning walks gave the opportunity to explore the area including an amazing walk along the Cliffs of Moher. They were an excellent way to start each day.
The yoga sessions were excellent, with the right amount of challenging and restorative practices including fantastic medititation sessions. I left feeling renewed and uplifted.

The retreat is within a stones throw of some beautiful little villages and towns including Lahinch and Ennistymon. They both have some quirky and fun shops, with opportunities to surf and swim in Lahinch.

All in all The Cliffs of Moher retreat is a fantastic place to visit and is excellent value for money. You will come away feeling like a new person.

I visted the Cliff's of Moher retreat last Christmas and, nearly five months later, I'm still raving about it. It was just the right combination of yoga, meditation, relaxation and amazing food and company. I started the retreat exhausted and run down and when I left I was rejuvenated and full of positivity. I highly recommend it to yoga lovers and beginners as Michelle is a wonderful instructor whose classes somehow manage to be pitch perfect for every level.
