On a recent golf trip to Ireland I stayed two nights at the Lehinch Lodge. Bernard Ryan was a great host, with a fine establishment, well located, ample parking, close to town and the golf course. Breakfasts were grand, as was the room. Enjoyed watching the Olympics in the downstairs lounge. The golf course is a must play if you are planning a golf trip to Ireland; every bit the equal of Ballybunion. Thirty minutes south is another great course- Doonbeg. I didn't get to play the nine hole course nearby-Spanish Point, or the castle course at Lahinch, so I guess I'll have to go back. Can't wait!
