My wife and I have enjoyed two special ights with Susan and Doug at their B&B. They were warm and very welcoming and they had the right balance of hospitality and letting us be with our time. The cross-bar for beakfast was extremely high. Generous buffet and superb cooked breakfast was something to wake for. It will be hard to match as we continue our trip around Ireland. While it is a country style home in the gentle rolling hills, it is only 5 mins drive from the famous Lahinch surfing beach, and short drives to other major Clare attractions. We loved it.

Only stayed for one night with my husband and 8 month old girl. Susan and Doug both greeted us with warmth and smiles. Our room was the perfect size, very comfortable. Susan understood everything that we needed as she has a sweetheart of a little one as well. She even left us baby shampoo and towel in addition to the cot and blanket-very thoughtful! The famous muffins and tea didn't disappoint, and the breakfast was delicious! The setting is nice and quaint, and the town of lahinch is less then 5 minutes down the road. My husband loved the golf course and we will definitely be back again.

Susan and Doug, along with their young children provide a most friendly environment. One feels a guest in every positive sense while staying with them. Susan is a fabulous baker/cook and work very hard to make each breakfast a special occasion. For my wife's birthday Susan and daughter Alanna made a surprise cake! This B&B is very close to Lahinch, which has a fabulous golf course and is a charming surfing town. We loved our stay and would return without any question!

Stayed here for 2 nights, June 22nd - 24th and the stay couldn't have been made more enjoyable. From arrival Susan had tea and homemade muffins ready for us with plenty of time to ask about our plans for the stay. Local knowledge was shared and no question we had went unanswered.

Dropping us into into Lahinch itself both evenings, homemade bread / muffins, fantastic food cooked fresh each morning, spacious room, cleanliness, value for money - just a few of the things offered by Susan that you don't see in a lot of places these days. Definitely worth a visit to Lahinch, but Susan, her warm personality and homely B&B made Lahinch all the more special.

Thanks Susan :)

This was hands down our favourites b&b during our stay in Ireland. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Spotless, spacious room, very comfortable and the most delicious full Irish Breakfast! (don't tell Susan but my boyfriend had 4 muffins after breakfast!) the muffins are to die for! It's all we can think about during the rest of our trip. Gold standard. I'd definitely recommend this. The SIding b&b deserves nothing less then a 5 star. -Evelyn and Scott
