Stayed at this hotel for a Bank Holiday Weekend break for Photography. The outside of the hotel looks a bit tired but inside it is much better. It does have an old world charm about it. The staff were very helpful in reception. There seemed to be two weddings at the hotel that weekend & so the Breakfast was very busy and a bit chaotic. We were asked to wait five minutes to get a table, we ended up waiting about 25 minutes, but people who came a while after us were called for their tables before us. Then there was not much food on the buffet. The staff that were there were working very hard, but I think that there were not enough of them to cope with the numbers.
The room itself was spacious & comfortable with a very nice bed. Nice view over the Golf Course & free WiFi.
There was a mistake made on my Bill at check-out which I realised after a drove away, but a call to them & it was quickly sorted & a refund issued.

We have stayed here on various occasions. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and homely with very pleasant staff. The restaurant food has always been good (we usually do one of the two night offers). We always ask for a sea view room as it is lovely to wake up to. A really good "value for money" hotel.

As my mother was originally from Buncrana we go to buncrana quite regular and always stay at the Innishowen, it is gr8 value, my wee boy loves the planet active soft play area it is gr8 for the kids, the only downside i would have is the lenght of time we had to wait for our food and there was only another couple in the restaurant at the time in the penniusula Restaurant, although whenever it did arrive it was lovely, the swimming pool and changing rooms are clean, the beds are lovely and warm and cosy and staff have always been very friendly

My husband & I stayed on the 19th February & departed on the 21st February. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly. We went to our room & it was lovely and warm & nice and cosy. That evening we went to the Leisure centre, which had a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. Which were all very good. We met friends that evening so we ate out at the Red Door restaurant in Buncrana which I would totally recommend. we didn`t eat in the restaurant for dinner any evening as our friends had us out to their home for a bite to eat also. We had breakfast in the hotel & both mornings were busy, also very little staff working on the breakfast shift so a lot of tables were still not cleaned up after the guests left the table, also it took a while for our order to be taken for Tea * Coffee * toast. Also the bedrooms could do with a touch up of paint, and the miniature milks in the bedrooms for making tea coffee were gone off from the heat. We definitely enjoyed our stay & will be back again as it is a lovely hotel.

My friend and I are just back from the Inishowen Gateway and have been there several times before, having booked with great 2 night deals. This time we paid 36 euro each for 2 nights room only stay. We have a lovely Seagrass Spa massage and free use of the pool.
We loved the food in the bar and ate there on both nights. We have been to the Beach House restaurant nearby and would recommend the window seats, lovely!
The only downside was that the dust in our room was terrible and my friend dusted the furniture to get rid of it. The paint in the rooms, especially round the tv area, could do with a touch up. We have been lucky to get rooms with a view on all our stays. I love this good value and friendly place!!
