Stayed in Blessington for a week with my wife Miriam and visited several pubs in the village but ended up in the West Wicklow House every day for great food and drink. Very, very friendly staff especially Peter, Mairead and Kathleen. Food was always reasonably priced, good and plentiful (thanks chef). Would recommend this ESTABLISHMENT to everyone. Thanks a million, Joe, Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

Hi everyone, me and my wife were hanging out in Blessington and we needed a place where to eat-in so by chance we called in.
Positive: very spacious and elegant premises, well polished and neat, so the first feeling is a nice boozer where to enjoy few pints.
Negative: the place wasn't busy but none of the floor staff welcomed us, asked us if we wanted to eat, at least handed over some menus.. so logically this lack of professionalism clashed with the nice environment.
So we grabbed two menus and took a seat.
At that stage we have been approached by a waitress, just being seated we asked for some extra time to browse the menus.
After a little while we were approached again, that made us feel little bit pushed but we decided to order our meals anyway.
Honestly we had too wait little too long for the amount of patrons eating at the moment but we don't usually complaint.
My wife got lasagna and i got a fishfood platter.
TO CONCLUDE: the food was eatable but everage taste-wise and choise-wise. Nothing special.
Your choise.
