“A Little Haven”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Stopped here on the June Bank Holiday Weekend for a coffee, I was looking forward to it after reading the reviews. I was not disappointed, friendly staff, great coffee and snacks, prime location, clean and reasonable prices.

“Great coffee on a Sunday!”
Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

Found this little gem on a Sunday morning for a great coffee!! It was just about the only shop open on a Sunday morning in the busy metropolis of Birr, but were doing a great trade!!

“Always busy because it's a lovely place with great food!”
Reviewed May 15, 2013 via mobile

I have been to Emma's on a good few occasions, this cafe is bustling!! The food is fresh and served to you with a smile, it's not hard to see the friendly staff here work very hard for their wages!

Whenever I am in Emma's I have a panini, the soup is also home made and fresh daily, they will do takeaway if you do not want to eat in.

The cakes and deserts are also homemade and fresh, the absolutely best desert to get us the baileys cheesecake! It always sells out fast, I have never managed to have another like it, and sadly for us it's only served on a Saturday, but whenever I have been there I buy some to take away!
Emma's is a lovely cafe!

“Fantastic food and service!”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

My husband and I popped into Emma's cafe for some lunch after visiting Birr castle. We both had the vegetable soup with brown bread. The manager was cheery. The soup was flavoursome and thick. The bread was delicious... a tasty dark brown pumpkin seed bread. Great value.
