“Breathtaking scenery”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

The Cliff Walk is a BallyB must, gorgeous scenery on a sunny day or the best place to blow away the cobwebs on a windy one (Standard weather for BallyB!)

A must see attraction and the Cliff Walk also brings you around to the Nun's Beach which cannot be accessed safely but is also lovely to look at.

“Ballybunion Attractions.”
Reviewed January 18, 2012

3 miles of continuous golden sandy beaches, dolphins jumping , soaring cliffs & a really quiet secluded beach with caves & sea arches all within a five minute walk of the Nine Daughters hole. The hole is worth seeing if you can stomach looking down it , waves crashing loads of white water etc but the scenery on the walks around it especially the beach just beyond it is stunning, though it was an almost perfect blue sky when we visited. Really, really great Guinness at a local bar, opposite the Bill Clinton statue finished off a perfect weekend.

“Cliff-walk with great views”
Reviewed August 8, 2011

Walking up the road from Ballybunion beach there is a path on the left which follows the cliff. Gravel-path, sturdy wooden railings close enough to the edge to see the dramatic views and a scattering of benches to stop and take in the views.
Nine-daughters hole is just one of many dramatic sights. Adults (without vertigo!) and teenagers you trust can (at your own discretion) easily jump the fence and have a look into the hole: 3-arches connect the hole to the sea.
Continue on the cliff-walk and see many more arches and dramatic views of sandy beaches.
Just 1.6km long, so perfect for a stretch between swims at Ballybunion beach.
Path is good enough for strollers (after ~20 steps to get started).
