Went to Ireland in September 2009 and stayed here. I know it was long ago but the experience was pleasant. Wonderful people, great food, close to attractions, & the owners dogs were very cute. Highly recommended.

We stayed in early November for a wedding.

Shane & Sinead were excellent hosts with a very warm welcome - the scones, tea and warm fireplace were definitely a good way to start!
The room was large, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was superb & with a good range of

A very nice place to stay. Bunratty does not offer a lot do to. We stayed here our last night in Ireland to be close to the Shannon airport for a next day flight. The family lives here with their children so it is very family oriented. We enjoyed our stay and our breakfast the next morning.

Recommended by friends & was not disappointed. The couple were hospitable & welcomed us in such a way it was more like home. Arrived on a cold dark wet evening & the fire was lit in the lounge & we were Invited to share scones & hot tea. Assisted in every way possible from advice on where to eat & visit in the area & the best ways to travel including a lift into the village on a few nights! One of the best B&B's I have encountered on our stay in Ireland. Wonderful warm & cosy room & bed & great breakfasts, lots of choices. Glad we chose this B&B as family & friends who stayed at the same time in the area did not rate their accommodation a highly as we can recommend this home. Thankyou Shane & Sinead for making our break top notch & hope to return next year!

My wife and I travelled throughout Ireland and stayed a few nights with Shane and Sinead at Parkhouse B&B. They were terrific hosts, very accommodating and treating you as one of the family. The daily breakfasts were simply amazing. They offered suggestions of where to go to dine, what to do as far as the Folk Village. They provided directions for us searching for my family's castle and more; through the Buren and up to Monk's for amazing seafood chowder, down along the coast to the Cliffs and back. Shane even gave us CD's (U2) to borrow for us to listen to while we drive the countryside. We definitely plan to stay with them in the future. Thanks, Shane and Sinead, for making our stay absolutely enjoyable!

The O'Brien family lives here with two young boys. You are part of their lovely, friendly family. The breakfasts are made to order and very good. The room was very comfortable. The location is on the narrow road that goes between the castle and Durty Nellies - easy to miss. Good location near the Shannon airport.

We stayed here 2 nights and can reccomend this B&B very highly to any visitor to Bunratty. We went to the Banquet and folk village, which is just up the road in walking distance ( road a little narrow for walking, be careful ) the banquet and folk village is a must. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were extreemly nice and helpful. No complaints .
