One of the best B & B's we have ever stayed in. Mrs. Murphy was so pleasant and accomodating. Her decor is fantastic. We had a wonderful breakfast to order. Wish we had more time to stay an extra night.

Ireland has many wonderful people and one of the nicest of all is Mrs. Marie Murphy. Her B and B is immaculate and one of the prettiest we found, with well apointed rooms and stunning views of the bay and gardens. She is a bit out of town, but the way is well marked with directional signs and parking is a snap. And the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend!

Very friendly welcome from Marie, her daughter and grandchildren. The Irish breakfast along with cereal, fruits and breads was wonderful. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Mr. Murphy told the guys were the nearest golf course was and later told us of a fantastic place to dine. Even though it was only one night it was a wonderful experience.

Glenorney By The Sea provides a true taste of Ireland and Irish hospitality. The property is an elegant and comfortable B&B with luxurious accommodations, beautiful Irish gardens and wonderful water views.
Marie Murphy is a charming Irish hostess. Together with her husband, Willy, and her staff, Marie makes your time at Glenorney a most memorable event for any visit to the Waterford area.

Room Tip: Room #6 was set off from the rest of the facility, and was very quiet; with a wonderful king size be...

This place was very nice to stay. We were able to park easily! She is a bit far from the city center so we drove into Tramore. Marie was a fantastic host. She made a wonderful breakfast. It was nice to have options other than the traditional Irish breakfast (which is available should you choose it). We had the pancakes which are more like Swedish-style pancakes instead of American-style. She also had stewed rhubarb with breakfast. This rhubarb is fantastic! She even told me her secret on how to make it :) My only complaint would be that we stayed on the first floor, so if people were talking in the garden we could hear them in our room.

We arrived later in the evening. Mrs. Murphy helped us by making reservation at a restaurant in town for that evening. We came back and found our rooms. We has to reach our room by going through another bedroom and bathroom. It was awkward. If one did not do well in a closed in area it would not be comfortable. The beds were not comfortable. However, the B&B was very clean. Breakfast was good.

We have just had a wonderul weekend in Tramore where we attended a Wedding,We stayed in Glenorney bed and breakfast which is close to the sea.with lovely sea views and fine gardens Our room was clean bright and modern and lovely and quiet with on-suite shower-room ,There was a good selection of cereals fruit and juices for breakfast and a lovely selection of home made breads,We opted for a late full Irish breakfast the 1st morning which kept us going for a hectic day .The second morning my husband opted for kippers and i had poached eggs and bacon ,lovely .The staff were attentive and friendly ,real Irish hospitality with Quality accommodation .This 1st class bed and breakfast is run by Marie Murphy who was very informative about the surrounding areas of Tramore and thankfully got us to the Wedding on time. We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Book directly with Marie Murphy you get a better rate than booking through agencies .
