The food here is so delicious, I say every time the chef really knows how to cook. I just love the starters, the bruschetta with melted brie is just devine. Last week I got the bacon & cashel blue salad & it was 10/10. I am always full by the time the main course comes but I still manage a desert. It was €20 for two courses & is well worth it. We went to the Dogs last week in Waterford & had a meal there & it was soooo horrible & more expensive!!. I hope the new Caseys Steakhouse in Tramore won't affect Market Street too much.

The food was not Michelin star quality, but it is one of the best restaurants in Tramore. It seats about 30 people. The food was fresh and the meat was cut thick and was tender. They have a reasonable early bird menu: 60€ for two people with a below average bottle of table wine, starter, mains and dessert. Tea or coffee was also to be included, but we were charged for it. The potatoes that came with the mains were au gratin, creamy, but the garlic was overpowering. The asparagus salad was imbalanced by too much salty, streaky rashers and too little asparagus. The ice cream is purchased from I'm guessing Musgraves. The chocolate cake was rich and gooey, like pudding. The waiter and waitress were very attentive. Four times they returned, asking if we were finished with our mains.

You will go far to taste food as good. Ate all over and the filet steak and attention to detail is amazing... Even broccoli sides full of flavour.... The pork belly on a bed of lentils is just amazing .... Love and care in every bite ! First time coming here couldn't recommend food highly enough... Basic decor but here for food

Well done

We had Sunday lunch at the restaurant recently, we were customers at the owners previous restaurant outside Carrick On Suir and we hoped the same standards and quality would be available. We could not locate the restaurant and rang for directions, the chef directed us and it turned out we were just outside it but when we entered even though he saw us coming in there was no acknowledgement that it was us that had been on the phone. He made no effort to speak to us or other customers, we thought this very bad business practise. The food was quite nice but vegetable flavours were killed by over use of seasoning. The waitress was extremely helpful and could not have been nicer. The seating is on three different levels and does not add to a comfortable atmosphere and on the day the place was not cold but was not warm either. The overriding view was that we had travelled thirty miles to give some business to a chef/owner that we had supported in his previous restaurant and he did nothing to acknowledge us or any one in the restaurant as he moved through the dining area, we will not be travelling again, as my late mother used to say " it costs nothing to be nice".
