Splashworld is a public swimming pool that opened circa 1992 and has not been updated in the least since then. It is exactly the same without an investment of a further euro since the day it opened.
It's extremely expensive with an adult and child ticket costing €18.
Changing rooms and floors are generally dirty.
Staff are usually very friendly.
The facility comprises of two large tube slides which are fun, a smaller indoor child's slide, a wave machine which is activated every 30 minutes or so. There is also a steam room and jacuzzi.
If going to keep children entertained, it will keep them happy for an hour tops. Needs updating and investment.
For adults the upstairs gym is well equipped.
