Home Bakery & Restaurant in best location in cavan town; in town hall street with large windows looking out at market square and busy streets. My wife was treating me to a snack and I had the most beautifully constructed cappuccino that I had tasted in cavan town since the days of the famous central cafe of the 50's and 60's. Yes, it was that good. BUT, another visit on another day produced a very poor cappuccino indeed and a poor toastie. The lask of consistency is what ruins coffee making in Ireland, you never know what you're going to get. Excellent tea however and sandwiches and soup and cake and muffens; comfortable seating and warm ambience and lovely homely staff...best in cavan!
