I felt at home in this B&B ! Maureen and her husband were very friendly, caring and helpful (I travelled alone so I truly appreciated their help), the room was confortable, big enough, and perfectly clean. I loved the delicious breakfast with a beautiful view. All this for a small price !
I hope I'll be able to go there again ! (and by the way, Letterkenny is small but very quiet and beautiful).

my husband and i stayed in this homely b+b on saturday night 04/05/2013,it was very last minute and everything in letterkenny was booked up but some other b+b gave me this lovely ladies number.she answered straight away and was able to tell me straight away that she had a double room available without flapping about late notice.she gave me great directions to her place and when we arrived she was waiting for us showed us straight to our room and offered to help with directions to anywhere we were going. When we came back after our night out the room was lovely and warm and peaceful and quiet,i never heard a noise from the rest of the house all night.breakfast was served as soon as we sat down and everything came all together,( no waiting on toast or tea) and it was lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable there and no preasure to get out in the morning. We will stay here again as the house was lovely and clean and the lady of the house Maureen was just that a lovely lady.

We called at the last minute and were easily accomodated. Maureen was really helpful and friendly and the room was just fine. We were headed to Glenveagh National park and it was only 25-30 minutes from the visitor center. The room was nicely done and just right for our needs. We were close to the town as well as we had to head back in for Dinner shopping and church. It was well situated. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

We spent one enjoyable night here with very friendly Maureen and her husband. They made us feel at home and suggested a nice place to eat just up the road. The breakfast was made to order with generous portions. We enjoyed the lovely garden and view. Rooms were clean and plenty of hot water in the shower. Free wi-fi was appreciated. Would stay there again.

We stayed one night at the Glencairn House. We were delighted by the hospitality and overjoyed to find comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious! The garden had a beautiful view and I was able to access the wifi there while relaxing.

Having stayed at Glencairn for 5 nights in May, and experienced the most wonderful hospitality and service from Maureen and her husband, and read all reviews (to find something original to say!), i have to say that I do not recognise Glencairn from Karey M from Tuam's review. We could not have been made more welcome (tea and cakes on arrival, suggestions as to where to visit, booking all our restaurants for us, etc).

They are a lovely couple who go way beyond to deliver the level of service that you would expect. The B & B is a nice bungalow, with lovely shrubs & flowers, and a great view over Letterkenny.nit is about a mile outside of the town centre and is quiet. So if you need to be close to city centre nightlife, this is not the place to stay. But if you want a good night's sleep, an absolutely fantastic breakfast, and a feeling of 'home from home' and being looked after by someone that genuinely cares, then don't hesitate any longer and book right now.
